I remember playing with Merlin frequently. Although it seemed pretty hard to figure out at times. But I think I liked it b/c it seemed so high tech at the time. High tech for a little kid anyway.
I remember my cousin had this, and I loved to play with it. Weren't there different cards that went ito it to change the game?

My sister had one when we were growing up, and about 5 years ago I found one at a yard sale, so I snapped it up for about $1. Still goes too!
I played with this for hours on end. it had like 8 diffent puzzle games. Steve, I dont remember if there were any cards.
I love this, and still have one!! I loved the way it resembles a telephone!!!
My cousin had one of thease when I was like 5. I played with it for hours till she took it back. I now hav e one of my own . Still love ot play tic tac toe on it.
Correction, merlin never had overlay cards.
My brother had this, and I could never figure out how to play it.
Funny, no body remembers this in the South but me. I loved this.
