Description

This 12" vinyl poseable doll was big back then. This was made back in July of 1984 by LJN Toys inc. Michael was poseable, and wore various music video and award clothes as well as his famous glitter glove, glitter socks, and mirror sunglasses, which were all removable from the doll. The box is black and had a picture of Michael wearing a yellow sweater vest and a white collared shirt with a yellow bowtie. The doll had different costumes, included Thriller, Beat It, The 1984 Grammies, (which Michael is sporting a 3-musketeer's inspired sequin jacket that is purple and gold), the 84 American Music Awards, Human Nature, Billie Jean, and the Motown 25 event. The doll had a molded jherri curl and came with a microphone and a posing stand.

I still have my doll and dug it out when MJ was going through his molestation trial. I work at a newspaper where toys on your desk are encouraged.

Still had mine til I got pregnant about 4 years ago...when I moved out the house, my mom still had all my stuff, but allowed my worthless sisters to destroy EVERYTHING!!! I'm gonna spend a small fortune buying everything back from E-Bay!

I had two of them- the Beat It one with the red jacket and the Grammy one with the strange Sergeant Pepper-looking jacket with sequins. And they each came with a sparkly glove, which of course I promptly lost accidentally. I remember letting Barbie wear the red Beat It jacket a lot when I was about 8 or 9, after the MJ dolls weren't exactly the thing anymore.

I don't remember who got this for me but I had the Michael doll that came in the red leather pants and jacket. Glitter glove and black loafers. He also had a curl of hair on his forehead. I loved that doll. He would also take showers with Barbie all the time. He still lives in my mothers house.
