This 12" vinyl poseable doll was big back then. This was made back in July of 1984 by LJN Toys inc. Michael was poseable, and wore various music video and award clothes as well as his famous glitter glove, glitter socks, and mirror sunglasses, which were all removable from the doll. The box is black and had a picture of Michael wearing a yellow sweater vest and a white collared shirt with a yellow bowtie. The doll had different costumes, included Thriller, Beat It, The 1984 Grammies, (which Michael is sporting a 3-musketeer's inspired sequin jacket that is purple and gold), the 84 American Music Awards, Human Nature, Billie Jean, and the Motown 25 event. The doll had a molded jherri curl and came with a microphone and a posing stand.

I still have my doll and dug it out when MJ was going through his molestation trial. I work at a newspaper where toys on your desk are encouraged.

Still had mine til I got pregnant about 4 years ago...when I moved out the house, my mom still had all my stuff, but allowed my worthless sisters to destroy EVERYTHING!!! I'm gonna spend a small fortune buying everything back from E-Bay!

My best friend Kristin H had one - he came out to play with all the barbies in his nice red leather jacket and silver glove.

I had two of them- the Beat It one with the red jacket and the Grammy one with the strange Sergeant Pepper-looking jacket with sequins. And they each came with a sparkly glove, which of course I promptly lost accidentally. I remember letting Barbie wear the red Beat It jacket a lot when I was about 8 or 9, after the MJ dolls weren't exactly the thing anymore.

I don't remember who got this for me but I had the Michael doll that came in the red leather pants and jacket. Glitter glove and black loafers. He also had a curl of hair on his forehead. I loved that doll. He would also take showers with Barbie all the time. He still lives in my mothers house.

I had the view master slides of Thriller and it was one of my favourite toys ever! I was sadden when we moved and it got lost among the toys that were put away for years. I never had a doll, but in recent years I managed to find buttons, stickers, gloves and trading cards.

I was 3 when Thriller first came out. It was my first cassette tape! I saw the movie (when I was 3) and it scared the bejeezus outta me for years to come! I always wanted the doll with the red jacket but I never owned one.

I had one with the red jacket & black pants. I wish I still had it. I sold it at a yard sale because I was afraid of his eyes- they were yellow like in the thriller video. I thought he was looking at me. Funny thing is I loved the video, but the doll scared the crap out of me.

I’m a huge fan of “The King 👑 Of Pop” himself Michael Jackson ever since I was 3 years old from listening to his music 🎶 from when he was with The Jackson Five from when his breakout solo career I remember the first when I was 7 years old my cousin had a Michael Jackson “Beat It” Doll and I wanted it so bad but when I turned 17 I bought the “Beat It” doll on eBay and I was so happy 😁 to receive it the day that it came in the mail but when June 25,2009 came around I was so hurt 😔 when he died I bought the other three dolls that LJN Toys came out with “The Thriller Doll”,The American Music Awards Doll” and “The Grammy Awards Doll” I will Forever treasure these dolls with all my heart ❤️ and joy Michael Jackson’s legacy and his music 🎵 will forever live on for years and decades to come thank you Michael I miss you so much and it hurts that your not here with us but I know that the lord is watching over you in heaven R.I.P.
