Description
Muffin Maids were sort of like a combination between Popples and Barbies. First, there was this, like, MUFFIN thing with the little pleated muffin paper and a plastic frosting lid, and then you took the muffin top off and it wasn't plastic frosting AT ALL, it was a HAT!!! and you turned the little muffin-paper pleated thing over and it was a SKIRT and there was a torso hiding in there with a head for you to put the hat on. Come to think of it, Muffin Maids weren't like Popples or Barbies at all. They were more like a combination of Scarlett O'Hara and breakfast.

Were Muffin maids the ones that looked very simliar to strawberry shortcake dolls but much later?? There was one called chocolati and smelt like chocolate, she came with a muffin tray that was plastic and removable rubber muffins!

Those were called cherry merry muffin dolls. But I think the other ones were cupcake dolls not muffin maids.

Yes definately they were cupcake dolls. I remember that blue one smelled like bluberries and I would always throw them so they would pop open.

I collected the Muffin dolls for some reason. I had chocolate, blueberry, strawberry, and one other one I cant remember. They smelled like their muffins, they had the plastic muffins in the pan, and each had a plastic friend that was a sort of kitchen utensil. I loved the smell of these ones!
