Oh I'll never forget my munchichi. I tell people now that one of my favorite toys was the munchichi and I get the same reaction every time, "A WHAT!?" I'm so glad it made this list.

im glad im not the only 1 to remember munchichi.. i always get the same response angel, "a what" my 7yr old loves monkey's, and insist on being called monkey, i call him munchichi, he used to get mad till i told him what they were...everyone else thinks im nuts..lol

I was suprised when I found them at the San Bernardino Mall in the Claires and Hot Topic stores I just had to purchase one of each style becuase they have dressed up in diffrent outfits.

I STILL HAVE MINES!!! He's grey and worn but I love him and my husband tries to hide him every chance he gets!! His name is Nappy and he sucks his thumbs and I let my sons play w/him occasionally. I will grow old with him...I got em on my 3rd Christmas and I remember when the lady upstairs bought him down for me...Memories *sigh*

My sister had a "clown" monchichi we called, "Lester" and a little one we called, "Reggie". We loved 'em! "Monchichi, monchichi, oh, so soft and cuddly...!" (That's all I can remember. LOL)

I so remember the monchichi's, i mention them all the time and none of my friends remember them. my 5 month old looks like a monchichi. and she is sooooo cute.

i wanted one very badly. my parents got me one for christmas, so they thought. it was gray but not a monkey, it was a cat. the ears were flat against the head. it really looked like a monkey in the package. i dont remember who made it or what it was called but i loved it just the same. once, i left it in west virginia at my grandparents house. omg! i cried the entire trip home. i had to wait several months until we got back down there. i still have her.

I loved my munchichi more than words can say. She got a whole in her arm and I fragged her around with me all over gods green earth with a limp arem and no hand. My dad threw her away one day when i went to school. I am still mad and i am almost 30!

Oh and the bad guys were called Grumplins and their leader was called Grumplor. The Wizard leader of the Monchhichis was called Whizzer. I just looked them up on Toon Trackers, and realized that I was like 4 when the show aired! Funny b/c I swear i remember it!

I currently live in Japan and they are HUGE! here, they are sold everywhere. I too had one when I was a toddler and still have it to this day. I got a new one recently and am getting a monchichi tattoo!

I had one! I loved them... I think I might still have mine... I forgot all about them until my friend told me she looked like one w/ her hair cut!

I feel like I have a Monchhichi family now! I never knew anyone else that had one. I am glad that some of yours look like mine, it is old and nappy with no stuffing and I tried to sew up his side when I was probably eight with some baby blue ribbon.
