This sounds so familiar!!

Yeah, she was called Herself the Elf. I loved her! She had a cute little bell that jingled on her outfit. I think she actually had a blue outfit, but she had friends too and one may have been purple. It was early 80s, around 83 or 84 I think.

it took some digging but i found the sleeping bag it was herself the elf the bag says the name and dream a dream of elf fun delights when merry tunes fill the night the bag was made by ERO leisure she is blond in blue dress with bells on her feet she has a blue pink and red haired friend

Boy, I remember having the whole collection when I was little. Used to take them with me every where I went. I wonder what happened to them?

My sister had that doll! I think I remember a cartoon? I think we had a cassette tape and possibly a book too.. Hmm.

Herself the elf gave me some the of the best childhood memories! I miss that doll, to bad they don't bring that back like they did with Cabagge Patch Kids and Rainbow Brite!

Wow, I had this and I always lost her shoes, ha..I used to sleep with her, gosh she was soo tiny. I still remember her feet.

I have been looking for so long to remember what the name of this little fairy. I loved the cassette and book that I had when I was younger, and am ordering it for my daughter. I hope it will give her as many fond childhood memories as it did me. I so wish that she could play with all of the awesome toys I used to have. The toys today just aren't the same!

I had the TV tray & dishes...but I had never seen the cartoon or read the books, so every time I used them I wondered where the heck she came from! For some reason I put it in my mind that Herself the Elf was some sort of Sanrio-wannabe Asian cartoon thing. I never asked my mom where we got those things, but I assumed it was from the Philippines or something since my relatives there sent us a lot of cute household items with Asian cartoon designs on them.

I LOVED HERSLEF THE ELF!! I have never found anyone else that knew what in the heck these were!! Each of the dolls in the line had as a tiny bell in her dress .... I loved the bell! I loved these dolls!

I have the board game! Didn't know there was a cartoon etc. I too have no idea where my game came from. I also have the game Enchanted Forest, now that is a good memory game for us 30-yr olds!

I remember Herself the Elf dolls. I had the one in the green dress. My mom couldn't buy us winter coats or toys and a charity group adopted us and bought us these dolls and winter coats.

I had the Wooded Pink doll because pink is my favorite color and I had the Herself the Elf sleeping bag. :)

My neighbor Brandy had the coolest toys when I was a little kid, and my favorite was Herself the Elf. I always daydreamed about living in a big pink flower! Precious memories.

I got Herself the Elf for my 6th birthday; it's funny, because there's a picture of me holding the doll in its box for all to see, with a forced smile on my face. I was convinced someone gave it to me to make fun of me for looking like an elf, and I wanted to cry!

I had the flower shower forever, probably the only reason I remembered the character so long! I always struggled to get the petals all to work like dominoes so the flower would work right, and loved filling it with water for all my dolls. I'm so happy to now know what cartoon it went along with, I just couldn't remember who the blonde fairy was!

my mom still has our herself the elf blankets she got for me and my sister. thr little girl across the stret had one of the dolls.

thank yall so much! i've been searching for this for years! i used to have 2 or 3 of them, carried them everywhere. i still have a gold plated necklace that came with one of them. now that i know the name, i can find them again! thanks again!!

There was herself the elf, & not sure of names, but she also had a red head with curls friend in green, one all pink including hair in high ponytail, & one with tight white curls in purple. There was also a playset that was a pink flower, & the petals open to make a little pool And next to it was a green stalk that when squeezed would spray water into the pool. There were a few special cartoons, books & items, but never enough to catch on like the strawberry shortcakes, care bears & such media of the more popular toys

I loved the doll but I also remember calling her Self the Elf. I think when I was liltle I thought Self was a name. I also had a flower shower/pool with purple petals that opened and you filled with water with a flower that would spray water into it. Loved it!

My first sleepover, I got a yellow Herself the Elf sleeping bag that stored in a pouch on the front and basically turned into a Herself pillow when put away. I loved it!

I loved herslef, I had the book with record and am still upset to this day that my mom bought the flower shower as a birthday gift for my friend(who never played with it. I would love to find one of my own!!!
