Description
Parafoils were a special type of kite capable of lifting around 200 to 500 pounds in the air. It looked like a parachute but had little pockets in the back to let the wind in.

Why on Earth would you wanna lift something 200 - 500 pounds into the air...with a kite, no less =/ Also, I don't remember this one.

Sounds very dangerous, but most of our toys were back then...lawn darts anyone? This is also the reason out generation is much tougher than nowadays.

there just kites. saw pictures of them when I looked them up did not see anything about lifting 200 pounds.
