Does anyone know where I can purchase one?
I had a Petster! I made my parents buy it for me at FAO Schwarz...I probably played with it 10x and then grew tired of it...I don't remember it being cheap either which annoyed my mother quite a bit.
I remember getting my cat petster (were they all cats??) Anyway I got it for Christmas one year and I didn't play with it much, it was a little difficult for a kid, I got frustrated.
I had a dog similar to this toy, I just can't remember if it was a petster or not.
The precurser to the Furby, Aibo, Poo-Chi, Tamagotchi and other modern day electronic pets.
Robbi, the dog you mentioned was probably a petster. In addition to cats they had dogs, spiders, penguins, hamsters and dinosaurs.
