Description
This was a handheld electronic toy piano from either the late 80's or early 90's. There were small numbered buttons on the face of the case ranging from 1-9. The case was opaque (see through) and came in a range of colors. Mine was hot pink, and inside the case was some laminated papers with numbers on them which would allow the player to play a song by striking the correct sequence of numbers on the keypad. I have NO idea who the manufacturer was, or the name of this toy. I also do not have a photo either, but the toy was no bigger than a flip-face cell phone unfolded. If anyone has any specific information, I would greatly appreciate any help.

I remember these as well! Seems like we would always pick them up at flea markets. The sheet would teach you to play simple songs like twinkle twinkle little star and mary had a lamb. The keys were rubbery like on a cheap calculator. Anyways, thought I would share what I remember about them. Would like to track some down myself :)

I remember these too! You could see the wiring & stuff on the bottom right? And some of them lit up. They didn't really sound like pianos...the beeps were high-pitched early cell-phone music tones. I had a few over the years...neon colored mostly. I wonder if they're still around?

I had one of these too, it was pretty fun. Also, opaque is actually the opposite of see-through, just thought I'd point that out

Hahaha, I had to bed for one of those, which is funny because they were probably really cheap. And now I'm a pianist. Go figure.

I had one from inside a cereal box, my parents took it appart & I could play the circuit board with my fingers, just me though. My parents couldn't. It would be cool to find one & see if I can still do it.

The two results I got wanted $20 plus for them.... weren't they a few bucks twenty years ago? Been looking for them even in Asian stores, toy section, for years and haven't found them..... Thank you!
