This stuff was great- My parents would always threaten to never buy me any more cuz I would get it stuck to the carpet of leave the lid off. I can see know how this is a parents nightmare.. Never buy this as a gift for a kid... The parents may never forgive you!!

This stuff will never go out of style. I'm 20 years old and I just bought myself a pack of it at Toys R Us recently....they have colors now you could only get by mixing them when you were little.

I too loved the smell! We had the toy that molded it.

I loved the smell, texture and taste! LOL! I never actually ate it, but it was cool just placing my tongue on it. It tasted very salty.

Did anyone else have the McDonald's Play-Doh Set? It had little molds to make hamburger patties, buns, and toppings like lettuce and pickles out of play-doh. It also had a "shake" dispenser and french-fry makers which were more or less just variations on the fun factory.

Sadly... as with most of you, the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Play-Doh is of course the smell, and the taste... HAHAHA! Atleast I'm not the only one! WOOO!

Ya I had the mcdonald's one with the hamburger molds and such! My mom always made me put an old table cloth on the floor b4 I could play with it! Kept the carpet fresh! :) Its a good idea as long as the kids will keep it there!

My parents had no problem with my brother and I playing with play-doh as long as we had a sheet underneath. I had a pizza hut set and a little white oven and other things. Very fun!

Now that i think back, i took my Play-do very seriously. I think i thought i was some sort of a sculpter with that stuff. Hahaha...I also never played well with others when Play-do was around and sharing was out of the question. What was my problem?? Hahaha

My brother and I had tons of fun with our play-doh as children. We made all sorts of things. We noticed that "Santa" stopped bringing us play-doh every year once our mother noticed it caked to her carpet in the den!!!

I was never allowed to have Pay-doh, which made me think that my parents were being unreasonable by comparing me to my brother who got it all over the carpet. Now that I am a parent, I don't let my children bring it in the house.

My mom was very adamant that I did NOT mix Play-doh colors, lol. I remember having to be very neat about my playing with it, too (no Play-doh near the carpet or on the glass coffee table). I had the Fun Factory.

My mother never bought it for me. She had a recipe so she made it herself for me. And she'd dye it different colors. But I found some last year at school in the art classroom and I stole it.

I use to love the way it smelled and all of the different colors. I would even mix two colors together to make a "new" color. I even tasted it but it didnt taste good, haha.
