Description
I remember a play doh playset where you put the clay under a head with small perforations, then crank it down and "hair" comes out the top.

There was one that had pets also. It was either a petshop of a vet's office. One of the two.

this one's called "the mop top hair shop". it was fun, but took way too long to clean the little bits of play dough out the little holes on their heads; didn't use mine that much

I didn't have this set. I did have the Playdoh set that came with the plastic plates. The plates had different shapes on them. You would slide the plate in front of an opening on the set and press a lever to squeeze the Playdoh through one of the shapes on the plate. I had so much fun making up crazy things! I got so upset when one of my plates fell through a crack on my baby-sitter's porch!

I don't remember having to clean the holes, but I do remember playing with them for hours! Even though they were my brother's toys...

Yes, I had this and totally remember the cleaning the play-doh out of the tiny little holes. Gosh, where did we put this. I'm sure that play-doh is hard as a rock now :0(

LOL! i used to call this "my fuzzy pumper set"!!! i had a love-hate relationship with it. i loved to play it and push the playdough through their heads to watch it grow like hair - HATED cleaning it. i think all mine ended up with hair folicles that were clogged with dried, crusty playdough!

I had one of these at my grandmother's house. It was fun! But my grandmother got a little tired of having to clean the holes out with a toothpick. That was the only way to get all of that Play Doh out of there!

My sister and I had this toy. The Play Doh dried up and got stuck inside. We never played with again.

Kind of messy, but oh so fun. I played with my brother's. They still make these and are more or less the same thing, I assume.

Marysia, I think we have most of the pieces. Let's make a deal!

This was the Fun Pumper Barber and Beauty Shop from 1977 by Kenner. Boy and girl figures, plus two cans of Play-Doh were included.
