I have a cow puffalump and an elephant from the hawian wild range i bought in america. I have had them for 23 years, since i was seven and have slept with them every night since . I even take them on holliday in my suitcase and they came to hospital with me when i had all three of my children. A bit sad isnt it! I am so glad to have found that they have been re-released in America - it wont be long before they reach the uk again. I think i may buy another from the usa before then!

I loved my Puffalump dolly. I have no idea when I got her (she seemed to have been around forever), and I've forgotten what I named her (Dolly probably). I can still remember when my mom bought my 5-years-younger a Puffalump dolly just like mine. I don't know what happened to hers, but mine got sold in a garage sale before we moved to Japan. I can still remember her though and wish I could buy another one.

Between my brother and I we have five ducks (only three are the same kind), three bunnies, three bears, two zebras, two alligators, a pig, a big lion, a little lion, and the Hawaiian rhino, tiger, tucan and panda. I love the ducks the most. Anyone have more?

I was given two puffalumps. the blue panda bear and the pink cat. however, I was given the blue one when i was 3 cuz my mother was in another state w/for my sister's brain surgery on my bday. I am now 21 and I have him...oh he's in critical condition!! I grew fond of only him and not the pink one b/c of the sentimental value of him given to me from my mom. He's been my best friend and even now when upset I put his left ear in my mouth and cry (its what i did as kid and it gave me comfort). I love him and I just wish there was a way i could fix his ripped fabric and well the stuffing is all matted. He's been loved alright! I recieved a better conditioned one from my mom 2 years ago, however...its just not the same. if anyone has ANY suggestions on how i can sew him up w/o rippin the fabric or harming it, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! thank you!

I have had my green bunny Puffalump FOREVER, and it has been through A LOT! I know him as my "Green Puppy" even though he is definitely a bunny LoL He has more stitches than stuffing now, and his ears are pretty dilapidated from all the snuggling they received while I sucked my thumb when I was little HaHa That thing went EVERYWHERE with me. He even went camping, where he fell in the lake (I bawled), had to be fished out, and dried out underneath a lamp next to my pillow for a night. He's been sewn with various colors of green thread (sometimes white), both by my mom's hand, her sewing machine, or even by me when I was old enough to sew! He was "put away" for quite a long time because I couldn't give him up and was devastated. When I found him in a box many years later, I just couldn't pack him back up again. So I'm 21 yrs. old and he will ALWAYS keep the best memories of my childhood close to my heart :oD

I've had the Heidi Lavender doll (from the 90's...I hope it still counts!) since I was a baby. I call her Purple Person and, like many other people on here, she's pretty much falling apart: she's been sewn up so many times, it's a shame that there's so little left to stitch up! Buuut, my mum and I are starting a project, we're going to make a new body for her (outside the 'old' body) using lilac fabric, ribbon and a whole lotta stuffing! YAY PURPLE!

I have a pink bunny puffalump named "Pinky". haha wasn't that an obvious choice. I think my aunt gave it to me for my first or second birthday and I've kept her on my bed since. Unfortunately, Pinky's now a bit ripped (understatement) and her stuffing's flattened. How do I get her fixed? and what kind of cloth are puffalumps made of? I would really appreciate it if you could help me.

OMG. This brought a tear to my eye when I saw it. Mine is a pink and yellow rhino named 'Puffalump' (lol), and my mom gave him to me when I was five years old--she bought him from the Roses store in my hometown. He has a tuft of white yarn hair on top of his head and the end of his tail. When I was little I used to trim it once a month because I thought it grew--its pretty short at this point, but still there. I'm 27 now and he's 22--slept with him every night until I got married. Now I still sleep with him when my husband's on tour. He's been my lifelong companion, however silly that sounds, and I love him so much. It's amazing--the power of childhood.

I have what's left of my duck puffalump named Puffy. I've had her since I was a few months old and she's about 20 now. I have loved her to the point that there is nothing left to sew back. All that's left is a deflated head, half of a body ( the back is completley gone), wings and feet. Nonetheless, she is by my side when I sleep nearly every night. I'll love her until there is nothing to love.

I had a Cow, he was purple and had a pink nose, also had a pink animal and a baby one too, but I don't remember any of them having the logo on the bottom and I couldn't find my cow on the website. I'm so glad that I found people who loved theirs as much as I loved mine (Hoping that Mum still has mine as I want to give it to my baby

I purchased a puffalump "Pony" with wide strips for my son back in 1993 and now my second child, born in 2008 has enjoyed it until she lost is recently. It was her favorite! We live in Greenwood, In. and I believe she lost it at the Meijer store on Hwy 135 as we were shopping. I would love to purchase another "pony" at a reasonable price. Even though her "Na Na", as she called it has an emotional attachment. Puffalumps are great for babies! Thanks

I used to have an orange/green bear named Huggable "Huggie" Bear. He was bigger than I was. I loved that bear so much. Wouldn't go anywhere without it. He got so beat up and was sewn and patched a lot. He "died" when I was ten after having a tantrum. I miss that bear so much. I've had other bears too (but I don't know where they are). One of them was a white Valentine bear with little pink heart pants and another was a very small orange bear with a purple sweater (I think). I still have a reindeer named Ritchie. He's got a red body, green antlers, green ears (inside only), green hands, and the bottom of his feet are green too. The only part of him that is not green or red is his stomach which is white. He's fallen apart too, but I've gotten really good at sewing him up.

I'm 25, own a house, and live with my boyfriend - and I still sleep with my yellow puffalump kitten. I think it's #2, because I wore the first one out when I was younger. My mom has also sewn the tail back on a few times. He still travels with me (and I've even caught my boyfriend cuddled up with puffalump). I had a wild puffalump elephant, but it never replaced my yellow one. I'd love to find them in a store to stock up for my future kids. (I don't think I could let mine go to pass it down!)

She is now 12and Ellie is still in fine condition, amazing as he has been soo loved. She still sleeps with him every night and takes him ever where she goes, he is one well travelled elephant! Now and then he braves the washing machine but luckily we found some shell suit trousers that are a perfect colour match so he is easily repairable. He is 27 now and at this rate we think He'll hopefully live to be loved by another generation!

I have the Mouse Baby Puffalump. Actually, I have like 5 or 6 of them... where they are, i have no clue. My mom would buy them around Christmas when they were still being made. I initially had one, but I cuddled it so much and wore it out. Everytime it was getting out of shape and torn, I would write a letter to Santa to "fix" him. And with a little christmas magic, puffalump would be fixed! Eventually when they were impossible to find, Santa stopped fixing puffalump. I sleep everynight with my torn, tattered, and especially LOVED TO PIECES puffalump. Although just recently, my mother found a mouse puffalump at a yard sale and bought it for me. Needless to say, I was estatic! I cuddle it as though he was just fixed on Christmas. I'm 20.

I would crawl around the house with it and everyone knew I was coming when they heard the little rattle sounds. I'm 18 now and i still love it to death. I named him Puffy(short for puffalumpagus the 3rd.. what can I say I was a creative child). I sleep with it every night (sad I know. It's been my biggest security blanket and has gotten me through some really rough times in my childhood. I would save it over anything else if there were any kind of natural disaster. I really wish fisher price still sold them. I would definitely want to buy them for my future kids someday.

This is the best site EVER!!!! I have had 3 puffalumps in my life. I lost the first one in the mall when he fell out my stroller ( my mom told me), the second one I lost when my family and I moved cross country ( that was a long and painful trip when I realized I didn't have Puff). The third and last one sitting right next to me on my bed!! My mom and grandmother always said I would bring Puff with me to college....and they were right. I am 20 yrs old and still sleep with my puffalump. I am glad to see I am not the only one!

I have a white cow puffalump who over the years has been called 'puffy' 'puff puff' and 'puffalump'! Im now 22 and was given my puffalump when i was 6 months old, he has been truly loved and is continuously having repairs made to him. He no longer has his horns and a hat has had to be sown onto his head as all the material perished! He lost the dress after a few years of being called a boy and now has a very smart t-shirt from Asda! I found an original unloved version of the white cow at a car boot a few years ago and intend on passing it on to my children, I hope he/she will love that puffalump just as much as i have loved mine!

I have a yellow puffalump bunny that is better known as puff. Puff was a present for my sister, who was born in 1988, on her first birthday. I came along in 1991 and puff was the first gift I ever got from my sister. I slept with puff every single night and still have the toy to this day. I would never be able to give him away. If Fisherprice ever re-released them, I would buy one for each child I had. Puff has always and will always be my absolute favorite toy!

I still have my mouse "Puffy" too! I've had him since the day I was born, 17 years ago! He has so many holes in him and is missing a lot of fluff but I refuse to get rid of him, I sleep with him every night!

I've had my puffalump ever since I was born. I'm 18 now and he's still around! I have a bear with a heart bib. And my creative self named him "puffy". I actually have two. One was always at my Grandma's house so I had one whenever I spent the night :)

When Puffalumps first came out, I bought one for my daughter (who is now 29 and has 2 sons) and one to put away, to one day give to my granddaughter, if I ever got one. A little over a year ago, our house burned to the ground and we lost almost everything. The pink cow Puffalump wearing the white dress was safely tucked into my grandmother's hope chest in the garage, which was spared. The disaster recovery company came and took everything to clean and store for us until we could get back home. There was nothing at all wrong with the hope chest or the items inside. It broke my heart that we got back everything that was in the chest BUT the pink cow. And now, in 2 months, our 1st granddaughter will be born. After waiting all these years, I have no pink puffalump cow to give her....We contacted the recovery company and of course, they have no record of even receiving it!! Yes, it was still in the chest when we looked inside after the fire was finally put out!

I love my puffalumps. My first was the blue dog. He was a gift to my older sister on her first Christmas in '86. I inherited him a yeah and half later when I was born. He has spent every night with me since. He is very well loved and worn now but he's holding strong. I'm worried about washing him now because he is so ragged. I also have "stolen"a christmas mouse and pink bunny from my sister. The white bunny, chick, and doll were given to me. All were well loved and I still have them. When I went away to be a counselor at a summer camp I wanted to take my blue dog with me but couldn't bare to think of him getting lost so I bought one of the 2006 target puffalump bears to accompany me. He's in the best condition and may one day become a special friend to a future child I may have one day.

I got my puffalump when I was 7 I got it cuz I was going to get some surgery done n my mom told me I couldn't have my old stuffed toy cuz it was falling apart so to help calm me n help me not feel so scared she took me to the store n told me I could pick a toy we looked around for alil n when I saw the puffalumps I asked if I could have one of them she looked at me n smiled see back then we realy didn't have money but she said witch one do u like the best it was realy hard to beside but I finally chose the cutest pink pig she even had a little velvety pig on her belly that said cuddle me pal, I'm pretty sure that's what it said or something like that, so after we got my pig we had to go to the hospital I asked if Pinky ( my pig ) should stay with me my mom said yes but she wasn't sure if they would let it in the surgery room when the doc came in to talk to her before taking me back my mom ask if I could keep my pig with me the doc said sure let's get her suited up lol they put a mask on pinky face n a hair net on her head it was a rough surgery for me I actually died cuz they couldn't get the blood Stoped it turnedout I was allergic to one of the meds they gave me but some how I pulled through n from then on pinky n I were inseparable until I met my x-husband he was jealous over the pig cuz I still slept n cuddled with it that during a move he through my pig away n lied to me about it telling me that he just can't remember where he put it I found out later he through her away so every once in a while I try to find one that looks like the one I had no it won't replace the one I had but its nice for nostalgic reasons

My aunt gave me the pink and white Puffalump lamb, who I of course named Lamby, for Easter in 1986 (I was 1). He has not left my side since! He is my best friend and always makes me feel better when I'm sad or sick. I am 26 and Lamby has been to Hawaii and camping and boating and everything. He is so loved and sad that I can't repair him anymore. My mom has sewn him and stuffed him so many times. He sleeps next to me now and I found a replacement on ebay (named Lambette) and I sleep with her or one of my other smaller puffalumps. I went a little crazy on ebay and nearly have the entire collection O:) they fill the entire top of my twin daybed. I love all the puffalump stories! They're so sweet! If you're looking for a puffalump, ebay is the best resource I've found. I'm currently trying to find fabric to make them so if anyone knows where to find it please email me! sweetpea100485@yahoo.com

I've had my puffalump since I was born. We literally grew up together. I have the pink mouse with the pleated apron. I remember as a kid I couldn't sleep unless I had my puff with me. I'm 21 years old and still sleep with her. When I have a bad day I have my old pal puff to cuddle with. I can't believe I've had the same stuffed animal my entire life. Her body isn't as fluffy as it used to be but then again it is 21 year old stuffing. I couldn't imagine not having her. I feel like I'm going to be a little old lady still sleeping with her puffalump. Thankfully my fiancé doesn't mind her sharing the bed. ^_^

I've had my puffalump, Pinky, since I was 7. I'm now 31 and still sleep with her every night. If I travel, she travels with me. I could not think of staying a night somewhere without her. My mom would restuff her when I was little. My son now has his own puffalump, Leroy, and I carefully unstitched his back yesterday, pulled out all the old stuffing, and restuffed him nice and fluffy. He's like a whole new puffalump. My son is happy.

Ive had my pink bunny "puffy" since I was 4:) I'm 29 going on 30 lol! My puffy is still in good condition, needs a bath but all intact. For those that are worrying about washing them, try washing them in a pillow case, that's what my mom did to clean mine. Mainly, bc she didn't want me to she her goin in to the washer (I worried she'd drown). If you wash them like that it protects them and they still get clean. Just don't for get to use something like a hair tie to secure them in the pillow case! I know I'd be totally heart broken if anything ever happen to my puffy she still is my best friend and still holds all my secrets:) til this day she's never let one slip!:D

I've had my puffalumps since birth and they have always been comforting to hold when I can't sleep. I love the material of my pink baby bear and pink/yellow bird. The problem is, they both have more thread from my stitching than the original fabric. I'm really bummed that I can't find my pink bird with peacock like features on the Internet and I'd love to buy another since it means so much to me. It's looks are a mix of the dinosaur and alligator puffalumps. If anyone knows how I can find one It would honestly mean the world! Much appreciated!:-)

I have two puffalumps. I have always wondered what they were though. I never knew they were called puffalumps. Until today I always thought they were fun pals. I dont know why. I am 18 and I have had Pinky (wild tiger) and Yellow (monkey ) since I was a baby. I actually took Pinky from a girl and someone bought me Yellow so I could give Pinky back, but that never happened. Pinky has always been my favorite, that's why he is so worn out. I've had to push what stuffing was left up to his head because his back body and stomach are nothing but holes.. he's not sewable anymore, his fabric is thinner than paper. I almost cried (actually did) when I found him and Yellow on eBay!!

I've had a puffalump white bunny since I was born...now 15 years later he's still me favourite and I only stopped sleeping with him a couple of years ago!! Puffy unfortunately is very thin now and has so many holes in him, which have been sewn then resewn thousands of times. But I still love him. I need to fix him up somehow but not sure how to do it. The material he's made from rips very easy too. Whatever I decide to do, puffy will always be special!

As far as cost of the puffalumps, my mother says she seems to remember paying around $25 for one. I still have all of my puffalumps. I have a grey mouse, peach bear, pink kitty, blue elephant, green toucan, pink rhino, yellow monkey and a orangey bear with a bib. My favorite is the mouse, I believe that was the first one I received when I was a baby. Most of mine are over 25 years old as I am 26 years old now and I still love my puffalumps :)

It is funny to read about all of you still having yours. My mother bought one for my daughter in 1991, the Pink and Blue mouse. She was about 3 months old. Took that thing EVERYWHERE. When she was 3 my parents took her to Disney and they lost it. She was devastated. We bought a replacement, washed it a few times, roughed it up and told her Mickey Mouse mailed it back. She shook it, heard the rattle and said "this isn't my puffy, Mickey gave me the wrong one" This went on about 6 times before she heard the right "rattle" At 24, there is nothing left but a rag with a rattle inside which she keeps in her pillow case. I found it by accident, yet never said a word. Just spent $60.00 on ebay, found one in mint condition. Wish I saved those other 5 puffys, but figured she would be devastated if she ever found all those misplaced puffys.

I had a purple cat that I named (are you ready for this?) Purple Cat. My sister had a duck, but I don't remember what she named it. My mom bought a tiger for a friend's daughter from the Wild Puffalumps line as well, and I think we saw it in her bedroom once while she took my sister and me over to her place to meet her cat years later. I have no clue if she still has it.

I almost forgot something my sister and I used to do with our Puffalumps. In 1986, I was four, and my sister was five. Keep this in mind. For some reason or another, we would toss our Puffalumps into the air and catch them, and I think one of us inadvertently hit the ceiling fan (it wasn't turned on, this was in the winter). I don't remember what happened, but I think after that, we would try to see who could throw it the highest without hitting the fan. Either that or we wanted to give our Puffalumps a ride on the fan, I don't remember. All I remeber is we did something with our Puffalumps and the ceiling fan was involved (but there was no permanent damage to the Puffalumps, or the fan, thanks to our dad).
