I used to cry when football pre-empted this show on Sunday nights. Still hate football until this day... I bought the first 2 seasons on DVD and I watched them with my daughter- they are so lame, I can't believe I was so crazy about it back then!

I loved that show...I had Punky Brewster tennis shoes with 2 different laces and a lunch box...and wore mismatched hairbobs in my ponytails when I wore the shoes

It is so funny. I used to love ethis show as a kid. I signed up for neetflix and just for giggles ordered the first season. When it came my children watched it with me and now my 4 year old daughter is in love with punky. She now wants to dress like her and all. She even runs around hollering Punky Power! What a wonderful little girl to transverse through generations!

I had Punky socks. One was yellow and one was blue. I had arguments with my grade one teracher all the time because SHE was adamant i had odd socks on, and i knew they were a matching pair, i even showed her the matching punky tags on the sides of the socks. Would you believe she rang my mother and said i was arguing about my socks being a pair when they were odd?? My mother asked her if one was blue and one was yellow. The affirmative answer was met with a "don't argue with her then. They are a pair. They are Punky Brewster socks." Thankyou Mum.

I hate football b/c of this show. I had the hair too. I remember some movie where she has to rescue all her firends in a dreamlike cave? it was on tv.

I couldn't go without watching Punky Brewster. She was the best and ranked right up there with Silver Spoons.

I remember the song...oh God! Hilarious! I had the doll and I had two different pairs of Punky Brewster sneakers. My first pair were high-tops that were different colors. The other pair was a faux pair of Converse high tops. I had a PB quarter-sleeve t-shirt, too. I remember writing Soleil Moonfrye (the actress) a letter and my mom dropping into the mailbox when I was like, 5.

Totally used to watch and love this show. I think the girl down the street always tried to look and be like Punky.

In first grade I came as Punky Brewster for Halloween. Other kids came in fully-decked out costumes; I just had pigtails and a bandana around my knee. No one got it. I felt kinda awkward but to this day I am proud of my six-year-old self. Punky was such a little rebel. :)

I even had Soiel Moon Frye's pix/autograph. I waas so mad when it got damaged. My grandma even bought me a Punky Brewster sweater. I LOVED that thing. Best present she ever bought me. That got damaged too sadly.

Punky hasn't gone out of style. The show is still a hit. I bought just the first DVD, which had five episodes on it for my granddaughter. It not only captured her interest, but pulled her away from Sponge Bob. Punky's spunk and spirit are inspiring for young girls. A great message for kids of broken homes.

I've always enjoyed watching Punky Brewster shows when I was growing up. Punky and I are the same age. Now that I've found and bought Season 1 Volume 1 with 8 episodes and also Season 2, my daughters and I watch them quite often.

My sister is literally the biggest Punky fan ever! She has all 4 seasons on DVD and the cartoons on VHS and she dresses EXACTLY like her...EVERY DAY! She's 10 and makes outfits that are completely accurate to look like Punky's. She bought 4 denim vests and dyed them the same colors as all of Punky's-purple, red, orange, and light blue. She even makes EVERYONE call her Punky :) She also made a backpack and lunch bag to look exactly like Punky's! She has a life-sized stuffed golden retriever named Brandon, since she can't get a real one...and for the past 3 years my new name has been "Cherie" :) Oh, and I forgot Margaux, the life-sized blonde doll :) And the 1985 Galoob Punky Brewster doll :) She literally bought everything that Punky had in her room and every outfit Punky ever wore :) Now if only we could find the official Punky Brewster tennis shoes from the '80s...anyone know where we can find a pair or 2?

I also have all 4 seasons on DVD, and one came with a bonus disc with 8 episodes. I was an adult when the show came out, but still enjoyed it. Each show taught a valuable life lesson which nothing on TV does today. Hard to believe Soleil Moon Frye is 40 now.
