I had one of these...I remember it came in a set with a baton and a couple other things. I think it may have been a Get in Shape playset?? Anyone else remember those?

Haha, sorry, I just remember the commercial for this and laughing and wondering why someone would pay for a stick with ribbon on it :) There's plenty of silly toys I loved, but I never understood the point behind this one!

I have to say, I never understood the point of selling ribbon on a poll either, but I at the same time, kinda wanted one....probably because my friends had them!

I still have my Ribbon Dancer. I thought it was cool because you got to do a ton of tricks like those gymnists do...everyone on my block had one and we we have contests. I was pretty good at it. At least you could do something with this toy.

I used to prance around my backyard with this and pretend I was a rhythmic gymnast.

I had this, and didn't start really playing with it until I was much older, nearly 20. Tons of fun at parties, and then it broke! I'm looking for a new one if any one has any info!

Again, I think this was actually made in the 90s, but I didn't have one for a long time, so I made one. But eventually I got my dad to buy me one.

It was def. an 80's toy. I remember very clearly having one and where I lived at the time. I played with it all the time, lol.

It was definitely a 90's toy. I was born in '89 and I had one when I was about 6.

It was called "Get In Shape Girl"...It came with a cassette tape with workout music, the ribbon w/ stick, weights, leg warmers and sweat bands. I had it when I was 5 and I was born in 80.
