Description
The stroller was red and white check, with white wheels, I think. It had a red music note shaped music box on it with a pull string. You could move a little bar under the seat the would attach to the wheels. With it attached it would rock the seat back and forth. Unattached the seat stayed still. I cannot find mention of this ANYWHERE on the internet. Does anyone out there remember this stroller?

Yes!! ..but I had one in the late 70's. I have also been looking for it for years! And also like you, have not found any mention of it on the internet anywhere. I still remember getting it for Christmas one year and took it (and my doll Thumbelina ;) ) everywhere. Even more sad, I still recall the song they sang on the commercial advertisment: "I've got a rock-n-roll stroller, so my dolly can rock-in-roll." :) If anyone happens to have any info on how I can get my hands on one, I'd love to hear from you! thx!

My sister and I each had one of these. I remember the red note shaped music box and the song from the commercial. I may have a photo of us with the strollers from Christmas loooong ago. I'll see if I can find/upload it.

I have also searched for any info on the Rock N Roll Stroller. I got one for Christmas when I was 4. In 1974. I used to put my Baby Alive in it. I also dressed my cat up and put him in it too. I have that song in my head too after all these years. I would like to have one again. My daugter is 9 now, she probably would be too old for it but I could get for my grandaughter. I would like to have one for the memories.

I found this web site because as a teenager I loved the song for this product's TV commercial. I kept singing it (in private of course): "I've got a Rock-n-Roll STROLLER so my dolly can Rock and Roll...." I was hoping that perhaps someone had uploaded the old commercial to YouTube. Oh well, I just loved the jingle.

Received one when I was about 5 for Christmas. Other toys held my interest, and never opened the box. Now yrs later, I still have it, brand new in the box, never touched. I wonder if it still work....

I had one of these strollers when I was around 4 or 5. I loved playing the music box all the time. The stroller was eventually stored in my parent's attic when I outgrew it; tragically my poor stroller was destroyed by rats in the attic. Needless to say my beloved stroller had to be thrown away. I still have the stroller's music box (the only part saved) but it plays very slowly.

Funny how I was alone yeasterday reminiscing about my childhood and I thought of Christmas 1975 when I got my Rock and Roll stroller. I was 4 years old when I got my stroller, and the biggest treat was the stroller's music box. When I was older my parents kept my stroller packed away in their attic along with other toys of mine and my siblings. Sadly, when my siblings and I did a house cleaning after my dad passed away I found my stroller and other numerous articles in the attic destroyed by rats. Even the stroller's red music box was badly gnawed on and soiled. And the music box's pull string was chewed off. So many memories had to be thrown in the trash. I cried for an hour seeing this.
