Description
This 13" tall electronic figure was put out by Parker Bros. When you turn him on his eyes, rocket pack, and chest lights up along with various spacy sound effects. There are 2 buttons on his back that activate the features.

I've often wondered if I was the ONLY person who knew of this. I had the original comic book, never saw the action figure. Predecessor to Robo-cop?

I remember this toy and the comic book. It wasn't around for very long.

The comic book lasted much longer than the toy. I think it had nearly a seven year run before it was finally cancelled.

Always wanted one of these when I was a kid - the comic book was a bit of an eye opener (next to Star Wars comics, ROM was surprisingly grotesque in its depiction of the effects of the futuristic weaponry). Have heard slight rumours of a return, but I'm not holding my breath, just yet.

I must have been the odd duck, because I had one of these but never eve knew of the comic book. I just thought it was cool, the way it would light up when you pressed the thing on the back.

I had seen it in Omni Magazine, it was in an article about programmable toys, in 1978, also vaguely recall a commercial .
