Description
I think this is what they were called. There were 4 or 5 of these little dolls. They all smelled like different flowers. They had a large [water or tea] pitcher as a house. I loved these! Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? I wish I could find a pic to post, but I'm not even sure I have them by the right name.

Yes, I know what you are talking about. It seems I had a pink one. I am not sure if that is the name but it sounds right?

I know exactly what you're talking about because I have the entire collection of The Rose Petals....from every doll, to the teacup house, to the flower car and all the dolls still smell like their origianl flower scent!

I had the board game and a couple of the flower dolls. The rose one smelled so good! And didn't they have like fake diamond dew drops or something?

I know what you're talking about! From what I recall, each flower came with a book too, and the rose was the best, most popular one. I don't recall which one I had but I know my friend got the rose because her middle name was Rose and I was so jealous.

there was Iris, Orchid,Lily Fair and Rose, I don't know if I am missing one but that is all I can remember. I had Rose and her Cottage with the viewing window in the spout of the watering can. Even had a little lounge chair for her.

I loved Rose Petal Place. I had the read along book and tape. I still have a couple of the books. There was Elmer the elm tree, Rose-Petal, Sunny Sunflower, Lily Fair, Daffodil, Orchid, Iris Pitterpat, P.D. Centipede, Seymour J. Snailsworth, Tumbles the Hedgehog, Nastina the evil spider and her hateful assistant Horace Fly.

My sister and I had each had a Rose Petal doll, plus she had the blue one (I think her name was Lilyfair) and I had the car. We also had the board game, which I really wish I could find!

Had the dolls and the spider woman. There was a watering can house that did not hold water btw. I think a teacup or something and a car? I was rosepetal one year for halloween. I really loved the show Im so sorry it was canceled so soon.

I had the pink one. I also wanted to mention that the reason I looked this up was that I have the Stella McCartney perfume in the purple bottle and I love it because of the familiar scent. It reminded me of a toy from my childhood but I couldn't remember which one. Then it came to me, it is the same scent as my pink rose petal doll. So if anyone loved that scent, you should check out that perfume. Just thought I'd mention it.

I had Rose Petal. I remember she smelled like Roses. I liked these dolls a lot because they were very pretty-looking. I only had the one but I wanted the Orchid one really bad and never got it.

I remember being at a friends house watching the movie to it but then we had to leave before it was over and I NEVER got to see the end...boy was I disappointed. Never had the dolls but I always thought they were beautiful.

My sister had the pink Rose petal one, and I had the blue or purple one called Lily I think. Then we got the Rose petal house, and it was like the prettiest thing we ever had! We cherished that thing!

I had this doll in kindergarten (as a gift from my school -- believe it or not, our small school gave every kindergarten girl a Rose Petal doll!), and I had it for about a year, until my little sister brought it outside and it was never to be seen again! I looked under our deck for years just to see if she had fallen somewhere! How silly! Anyhow, I have this thing now with loving anything that smells like her fake rose smell! I found one at a thrift store and bought it to sell online, but decided against it for a future daughter!

I was fortunate enough to have just Rose Petal, didn't have em all. A girl down the st. was poor. Her mom ditched her with grandmom and had many siblings/cousins living there. Never met her dad. This girl pretended to have an invisible Rose Petal. I always played along with it and let her hold mine too.

My grandma got me a set of six Rose Petal pins and I gave them to my friends and cousins. I lost the one that I kept, but a few months ago I found two of those pins in Goodwill, and I bought them. Theyre enamel with Rose Petal singing into a flower mic and theres a little crystal dew drop on the flower.

I still have the entire collection of Rose Petal dolls, cars, house and books. The modern version of this doll collection is called Yummy-Land or Soda Pop Girls by MGA entertainment. There hard to find though! I found them in Winners. I bought the collection for my niece.

I have all of them. I remember that their story was a girl was moving and had to leave her garden. She went to the garden to cry, and her tears fell on all the flowers and brought them to life. That's why they have the rhinestone tear on the flowers.

I had one when I was 8. She had a tear drop on her petal hat. It came with a poster as well. I remember because I used GLUE to put it up on my wall and got in trouble.

I have been sifting through my memory quite hard for quite some time, trying to bring up more details about this vague memory I had of a tv show, or cartoon, I watched and loved when I was 6, back in 1987-88. I couldn't remember the names or any of the characters well, nor the scenario, only that it took place in a garden and that they were dressed like flowers. I just remembered today that the vilain was a spider-woman. Later, I got a doll from a garage sale when I was 8. I loved her, probably because she reminded me of this series. Today I found you folks and a few precious details. Now I can give my doll a name : it was Iris, from Rose Petal Place (created in 1984, dolls by Kenner). That's the show we're discussing. Check out some technical info on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088018/ Then check http://www.angelfire.com/me/cozykat/rose.html to see a great collection of the dolls as well as the intro to the tv series. I dream of the scent from Iris Rose Petal doll. Or it might have been the Orchid Rose Petal doll. Such a lovely little scent, wish I could find it again.
