Yes I had Sea Monkeys; once. My dad was throughly intrigued by them and we mistakenly put them on my mom's coffee table. They basically left the dreaded ring on the table and from then on out we would call it the "Monkey Ring". Hee hee ahhh memories

i bought sea monkeys several years ago. i was disappointed. contrary to the picture on the packaging, the sea monkeys don't wear crowns or capes. it looked like a bunch of dirty water that my grandfather sneezed in. luckily, they are very tasty.

My sister and I weren't allowed to have pets when we were little, so we had Sea Monkeys. I with ripped off, I was sad that ours didn't laugh and play and wear crowns and have fun like the ones on the packaging. How pathetic is this?: My sister and I even named some of them. The little buggers didn't live long, though.

We paid a neighbor kid to drink them. He barfed, but it was probably b/c we told him they were going to live in his stomach and take over his body.

One time when I was a kid, I wanted some Sea Monkeys...that is until I got them. I believe I picked them out as one of my birthday presents one year. When I got home, I started reading about them, and it freaked me out, because it didn't just sound like they were brine shrimp to be hatched, but rather like you were bringing them to life, and frankly, I wasn't comfortable with that power, so they were returned to the store! Haha! Of course, I now know more about what they actually are, and think I would've been disappointed with there inconsistency with the visual representation and performance anyway, so no big loss!

I had these. I got for my birthday one year. They are very little. I always thought from looking at the picture they would get big. Too funny. And yes you can still get these. I think Cracker Barrell Rest. had these once.

I remember the little tank they came in had built-in magnifying circles and my brother left them on the sunny window sill... I saw little black silhouettes on the glass. I was so sad!

I had a bubble watch that you could place them in. However i guess the little feela weren't getting any oxygen as they had all died within a few hours. A sad day indeed.

I had these too. Now I raise them as food for my tropical fish. In reality, they're brine shrimp.

My sea monkeys spilt by the electrical outlet. My mother had to call the fire department and explain what had happened. She gives me "The Look" whenever I remind her of it. hehe

I thought they had clothes and faces and things. Was very disappointed to find out they were only shrimps that died about a day after they hatched.
