Description
The Sega Genesis came out in 1988 as the Megadrive in Japan. The Genesis came out stateside in September 1989. The Sega Genesis was the first real 16-bit TV game console. Sega started to look for older audiences when they first released Altered Beast. Altered Beast was originally packaged with the Genesis system.

I got the megadrive for Christmas, it cost £250! I'll always remember playing Eswat and thinking how great the graphics were.
