I didn't have one of these, but my cousin did. It had some special 3d glasses that were mechanical and not the crappy red/blue kind. They actually worked. I remember him playing a maze kind of game with them.

We still have this system and some of the games for it. We have Zillion, Black Belt, Safari hunt/Off Road,After Burn, Phantasy Star, and Great Basketball and Shanghai. Cool system and great memories.

This was no Nintendo but the games were pretty good. My favorites were My Hero, Choplifter and a wrestling game (forget the name).

Technically this system was better than Nintendo. It's gun was way cooler,it had a thin slot in the front to play card like cartridge games and it had real 3-d glasses for its games. Plus the system its self was black and red that looks realy cool! The system's only real downfall was it simply could'nt compete with Nintendo in the game department

This was my first gaming system. I had the wrestling game and Alex in Dream "?" World ( I don't remember). No one I've asked remembers this system, so after seeing this site it's good to know I'm not crazy. LOL

My favorite Master System game was "Dead Angle'" which originally was arcade. You played as a (silhouetted) guy who followed mobsters from Italy to Chicago (final boss level) trying to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend. What made the game really hard was having to keep shooting the level bosses as they regenerated into the later levels, along with shooting the grunt thugs, and those who carried power-ups like first aid, grenades, shotguns and tommy guns. The arcade game was better, but the Master System one was satisfactory.
