I saw there was no comments yet, im kinda of surprised that no one has taken the time to write about her. I grew up in the she ra era. i always loved her hair and now i do hair. She is amazing and i love all the other dolls in the series. I had so much fun playing with the dolls and watching the cartoons, i have nothing but great memories about all of them and i wish that they would come out with her figures and cartoons again!!

Yeah. She-Ra was part of my He-Man collection. She was one of the few women involved in the series (and the only one I remember with real hair on the action figure).

i cut her hair into a short stylish bob. I also had the green girl, where you could turn her face around to look mean.

She-Ra was the BOMB! I had that exact figurine! Awww...I miss her!
Emily - October 29, 2007 - Report this comment
I had nearly every She-Ra doll that existed! My nieces have them now and I want to get them back! She-Ra was the best role model for girls back then. I am so glad the DVDs of the cartoon are out now. I've bought them all and if I ever have kids, they will definitely watch He-Man and She-Ra. I hope they decide to relaunch the dolls. That would be so awesome! I'm tempted to try and buy some off e-bay... "For the honor of Grayskull! I am She-Raaaaaa!" :)

My brother and I used to play He-Man and She-Ra for hours! He had just about every action figure related to the He-Man series, but I had to improvise my Barbies for She-Ra. My 6 year old daughter is now HOOKED on the She-Ra cartoons, and is asking for the dolls for Christmas. It's funny/cool to see her so interested in something that is about a quarter of a century old!

I loved She rah. I had her and Swift Wind. I also had the girl who looked like a bumble bee. I had all the books. I just recently bought a tshirt from 80's tees.com that has her on it. I wish she would get popular again.

My mother would not allow me to have Barbie dolls when I was little no matter how hard I begged but she allowed me to have a She Ra doll. I loved the doll so much that when I was 6 in 1986 I got a cat and I named her She Ra (full name She Ra princess of power.) And I had my cat She Ra for 20 years until I was 26 :( I miss her and my She Ra doll and her pink transparent horse.

I had She-ra and about ten of her friends, including Netossa, who was the only non-white figure they made in that series. I also had Crystal Castle and Swift Wind and loved them all and fully expected to get them back from my Mom's house for my own kids...then a hurricane struck a neighbouring island to where my mom is and she sent ALL my 80's toys there for the little kids who had lost their things( yeah, it was nice of her in a way)...yet somehow my brother got to keep all his He-Man stuff. Yeah, I have issues...

I remember my cousin Melissa being more into She-Ra than I was. I had She-Ra, the pink one (Angela?), the blue frosty looking one, the peacock one, the purple one, and the horse. I also had several books.
Jessica - June 20, 2008 - Report this comment
I just remembered that I had the mermaid one as well.

I had just about every He-Man and She-Ra toy when I was young...very obsessed! Our house burned down when I was around 15, I still had all my toys up in the attic but they were all destroyed. I am starting now to recollect them...guess I'll never grow up!
Nicole - June 23, 2008 - Report this comment
I love She-Ra. I only have a handful of the toys left. I still have the castle but not all of the accessories that came inside it. =(
Jennifer - June 23, 2008 - Report this comment
I had and loved my She-Ra. I also had her castle her horse and her boyfriend...I can't remember his name. But I was such a She-Ra fan that I also had the costume! We have pictures of me in the costume and my grandmother...and my little brother which just happens to be the funniest picture in the world.

I had many He-Man action figures but I also had a She-Ra figure as well. And I tried to hide it from my "friend" when he came to visit but he found it and told everyone at school so I was the laughing stock for awhile. But looking back I don't care. I loved She-Ra as much as He-Man and I even had Crystal Castle as well. I also had the Evil Horde action figures and I loved having my She-Ra battle Hordak and company just like she did in the cartoon.

I have the She-Ra and the Sorceress (Eagle lady) And the Crystal Castle. I am missing the sword, sheild, cape & skirt; purple fur rug and pink pillow from castle. Mum says i cut the blonde streaks from She-ra's hair, but I don't remember doing it, but i must have because she has a distinct lack of hair. Not bald, but not fully blonde. A bit mousey. And her pelvis and torso have parted company. And she is missing a lot of paint. Well loved.

Today, I passed down my beloved She-Ra dolls to my 3 year old daughter. She has been playing with them for the past 5 hours. I really miss those days. I had all the horses, the dolls crystal castle, and I even had all the He-Man toys too. I'm glad that I saved them. :)

I still have a few of my She-Ra dolls (along with a couple He-Man figures). I had Catra(sp?, Glimmer, and Beau as well as various others. I had the She-ra castle with the see-through elevator (I am not sure what happened to it). One of my Catra dolls made clicking noises when you moved the lever on her back and made her "scratch." She was different than the other Catras 'cause she had a grey skirt and tail instead of a black one and she came with a pink tiger with a curly mane.

I love She-Ra too, when my girls first saw the dvds advertized in walmart they said she was bad, because she carried a sword in her hand. but i bought one and watched it with them and they love it. They also Like He-man I wish the dolls didn't cost so much on ebay. But I'm Happy I can watch the cartoon again and again with my little girls.

I loved all the She-Ra collections, but there was one in particular that I practically would of died if my parents did not get it for me as a xmas gift. It was the Princess of Power cascading waterfall, oh my gosh, I was in LOVE with it. I remember playing with it all day. Im 34yrs old now and unfortunatley do not have any girls that I can pass all of my girly toys too, but trust me I still have it in storage, along with all my other toys. I wish I was 8 again!!!!
GemmaK - August 16, 2009 - Report this comment
Susie, just because you are not 8 does not mean you shouldn't play with your She-Ra dolls!!! I so wish I'd kept all mine!

She-Ra and He-Man were HUGE amongst me and my older sister and brother! They both had all the toys. I remember I was always forced to play with Evil-lyn, and my sister never let me play as She-Ra or her friends like Frosta and Mermista! about 5 years later they gave then entire collection to my cousins... who broke them!!!!!!!!!! And they still have them and won't give them to me even though they don't like them and haven't looked at them in over a decade! JERKS!!!!!!!

I always remember loving the She-ra series and toys. My daughter is now six and I have introduced her to the princess of power. She runs around the house waving a jewelled sword and using her rocking horse as a substitute Swift-wind. Yayy..she totally loves She-ra!

i really loved this cartoon! it helped me see that a girl could do anything a guy could do and more! i also like how she had weak periods where she needed help from friends. what a role model!
Emily - June 04, 2010 - Report this comment
I always pretended She-Ra was a snobby brat, and that Frosta was her cool friend that always apologized for her. I blame all of the teen romp movies from the 80s for such dramatic play at age 6.

Netflix now has season 1 of She-Ra available for instant streaming. My 8-year-old is now in love with the show, which makes me so happy to watch the episodes with her. :) I had a few of the She-Ra dolls as a kid, and I had She-Ra's castle, which was VERY cool. I miss those toys!
