Description
Made by Hasbro in 1979, It was like an Etch A Sketch but it was round and used a joystick type knob to draw and the powder inside was a bronze or gold color. I preferred it over the Etch A Sketch

I was cleaning our storage at home and I found my SkeDoodle from when I was small. It still works, however, it's hard to erase when I shake it. Now my daughter plays with it. Toys from the 80's rock!!

I had one also but don't remember whatever happened to it. In some ways I like it because it was easier to control than an Etch-a-Sketch. But I didn't like that the screen was smaller.

I was perusing an antique store and found a skedoodle. I think it's so much cooler than an etch-a-sketch and a lot easier to draw with - so I bought it. It's been fun!

I have been given a Skeddodle to value and sale for charity but the version I have is by Chad Valley NOT Hasbro. Anybody any ideas what price I should ask for on Ebay???

I remember being about four or five and being babysat by a boy who was probably about 10 or 12 while my parents went somewhere. I remember showing him this toy and him saying it was cool. Years later in retrospect, I assumed he'd been humoring me. But I ordered one from eBay last year, and I have to say, it is extremely cool, even to adults. It has just the right amounts of restriction and freedom.
