I had a really old Malibu Skipper who was tiny and flat-chested. She had straight, blonde, hair. She wore a purple, one-piece, swimsuit. Then I had another Skipper who had dark blonde, curly, hair and she wore this weird red and white, fake leather, outfit that could be reversed and she had a chest and was much taller than the other one.

I remember long ago my sister got Mermaid Skipper & the Sea Twins for Christmas. The color changing fins were awesome! But I remember we would always get really annoyed at our dad because he kept calling her "Mermaid Skipper & the Sea Chickens" XD

I had skipper and the babys i remember playing with them everytime i took a bath. i sold skipper at a garage sale becuase i had given her to many makeovers. i kept the sea twins though they were barbie's babies i played family in my doll house did you guys know she is and ken broke up in 2004 i just know figured that out lol!!!

Someone asked where u can buy one..well i just go one from ebay. :) U should check out people selling this skipper on ebay. The Skipper i had when i was young was called: Wet and Wild Skipper..she had baithing suit that changed colors from pink and yellow (i believe) to purple and green. I just saw that version on ebay, might go check it out. Skipper was always my favorite, I liked that her feet weren't for the high heels, and that her skin was usually tanned.

I had cheerleader Skipper, and I loved the pompoms that had elastic straps so theyd stay on her hands. But I wasnt thrilled with her hair, which was mousy brown with freaky blond streaks.

I rember having the African American Totally Hair and Baton Twirling Skipper Dolls! I always thought they were pretty dolls. I just thought they had too much hair for a tiny bodied doll! I used to comb their hair and heads would just POP right off the bead in their necks!!

I had the early 80's western skipper- with the red/white fringe shirt, white pants,hat and boots. She also came with a lasso. I remember she originally had three pig tails= one in back, two one the sides.I always wanted more clothes for her but they never had much of a selection. Glad to see Mattel brought Skipper back.

I still own Growing Up Skipper AND she still works. I was sharing her with my daughters this evening and my 4 year old was thrilled that Skipper "grew boobs"! haha
