Description
These were fairly popular in the late 80's. They were basically little men attached to a string that you could hook at one end & they'd slide across. I think there was even a cartoon show about them. They were a type of super hero.

i lost one of these little bastards in the snow as a kid...heartbreaking. these were sweet figures, about g.i. joe size, and the ziplines worked pretty well, as far as i can remember.

sky commanders were my favorite right after GI Joe. I had so many of these guys and the M.A.S.K. guys/vechicles as well...

These were awesome toys! I had a ton of these guys.. the only downside was they took forever to get all the strings set up, and I couldn't play with them anywhere where there was any chance of traffic....

I am going through my parents attic and found an original box/contents for the "rapid deployment" Sky Commanders: as seen here: http://www.virtualtoychest.com/skycommanders/skycommanders.html Should I put it on ebay? If so, what is it worth? please email if you know what its worth. mikeganthony@yahoo.com

I think I still have every toy in the collection. I had so much fun with them as a child! My mother I'm sure hated them since she would have to crawl across the floor to my bed just to get me up for school in the mornings. LOL... hunterbowman1@hotmail.com

I have been looking for the name of this toy for YEARS!! I remember having my room all zip-corded with these guys running back and forth! Wasn't there also a fairly huge set for them too?
