I got so many cool points when I brought my neon glow-in-the-darm yellow slime at school!

Oh, let's not forget about Slime Worms (with little plastic worms mixed in) and Slime: It's Alive! which featured a pair of plastic eyeballs mixed in with the (usually pink) goo. :)

Remember how your hands seemed sanitized after touching this stuff? What was it made of?

I remember my brother having this in the 70's when I was really little. I'd always ask him to get it out of a little locked wooden box he had. I though it smelled cool. I still remember that smell.

I loved slime; but I would always get it out of gumball machines.

I'm trying to find a picture. Does anyone remember slime balls, where you bought it per half-ball and you could stick them together to make 1???

Why did my parents buy this for me? I had it all over. It went into the trash one day when I was at school.

It had a nice smell to it. I used to use it as pretend shaving cream. I used to get it from a gumball machine, and it came in a large plastic dome capsule (the one that almost resembles the shape of an acorn).

Lol, I used to love the smell. I remember putting in our hand, then pretending to sneeze and it looked like nasty snot coming out of our nose.

My sister and I loved this stuff. Its texture and smell disgusted our mother, but she kept on buying it for us. We never kept it long, though- it kept 'mysteriously' disappearing.

Does anyone remember the board game with the plastic monster you put the slime in and it would ooze out onto the playing pieces? I'm trrying to find one and can't remember the name of it.

Marc, how big was the plastic monster? I seem to remember having a toy in the mid-80s that was a green rubber monster with open pores all over his body. You would fill him with slime, squeeze him, and the slime would ooze out from everywhere. He was much bigger than your typical action figure. Can't seem to put him in context now or remember his name or where he came from.
