I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THESE WERE CALLED!!!!!!! Finally! I had the papa one, it was blue, and it glowed... Man I have been searching forever!!

I used to sit in the dark closet with mine while it glowed. Oh to go back to those days!

I had lots of Snugglebumms. My favorite was the large pink one. I think I'll check them out again on eBay.

Kudos to this site for allowing me to find my old, beloved Snugglebums. I couldn't remember what they were called, so had to check each and every toy by letter. Finally, after so many years of wondering what they were called. I so miss my Snugglebums...!

I had mama and papa and my sisters and I married them one night... they were the coolest!

I got one for my 9th birthday from my grandmother. There followed five more. My Mum gave them away when I was 14. I only managed to keep the little blue one which is now 21 years old and now my little son is shaking it for it´s giggle. I really miss my other ones!

I found one today in a vintage store...the large pink one!!! I'm so happy with it! It may sound silly, but it is youth sentiment...I threw mine away a couple of years ago and regretted it ever since.....

I had the big blue Papa Snugglebum and the little pink snugglebug. I jammed Papa between mybedrails one night so hed stay lit and he didnt light well afterwards.

i had a whole collection of them. i remember the last one i got was pink and came with a carriage. my mum got rid of them one day, i was gutted! my 5 yr old son is now doing a project on old toys your parents played with and i remembered them and went on line! bring back snugglebumms!

I had Papa Gently!!! I always thought his name was just Snugglebum, I never realised that there was a whole brand of them. I got mine around '85 I think, because I remember as a young kid I used to get such a kick out of squeezing him in the dark. Oh I'm definitely going to eBay. 80s toys were the absolute BEST!!

I had a big pink one when I was really little, and used to sit in my dark closet with it to see it light up. I'm almost 30 but I remember it so clearly. At the time I thought it was a pink hedgehog, lol.

I had most of the Snugglebumms and the various accessories for their hair (I remember a pair of cherries was one of these) but sold them all at a boot sale :(

i can remember when i was at infant school and a girl had them in class and my mother asked her where she got it from and i had fondly and moma brightly and the princess one i am 32 now and i have now got papa gently (blue) moma brightly (pink) cutely (peach) shyly (pink/yellow hair) happily (white/purple hair) warmly (yellow) and gladly (green) fondly (mauvy pink/ mauve colour hair) and lucky(snugglepet) and a snugglebug hope this helps!!! but i love them i am into collecting my old 80's toys
