Description
These were PJ Sparkles' pets. There was a dog, a bunny, and a bear. They were soft cloth dolls with glow in the dark stars all over their bodies and beautiful rainbow eyes. They came in colors such as purple, pink, and yellow.

I'm looking for a pink Sparklins, I know they aren't exactly easy to find. I found one purple and one yellow, but I need pink to replace the one I have, she's getting really old, but I love her so much I don't want to loose her for good. Does anyone know where to find one?

WOOO! I have a purple bear also. My favorite also. Got it when I turned 3 in Sept. 1990. Mystery solved! Mine is faded and a bit torn, but eBay has some for sale. *Happy*

Wow, when I posted this, I wasn't sure anyone would know what I was talking about! I still LOVE my purple bear that I've had since I was about 2. I named her Starii. ^^ And Kira, look on ebay! I got the pink bunny and yellow puppy on ebay so that I had all 3. There are some that are kinda expensive right now, but if you wait a bit, someone will eventually put up one for less. Good luck!

This was my favorite as a child too. It took me forever to ID the item but I do see them from time to time on Ebay. I usually can only find them if I ebay for mattel bunny, as they are never listed as sparklins. I dont know if anyone else remembers, or still has it, but they came with a ribbon collar with a scalloped heart and in the middle of it it stated" I love you" and glowed in the dark. This was my "lucky charm" growing up and was in my pocket as I ran across the state finish line my senior year of high school... They are very very difficult to find with the collar, and i honestly wouldnt mind a replacement collar, as my velcro is long gone... please email me if anyone knows of where to get a replacement collar jens_52@hotmail.com Thanks!

My little sister who is now a student at University of Florida has three Sparklins (Nicknamed Baby Ears). They are her most prized possession and I do not know what she would do with out them. I just found out today what they are actually called and was curious if there are any other similar toys being made today?
Aubree's Mom - December 27, 2008 - Report this comment
My daughter was given the pink PJ Sparkles when she was born 19 years ago,by her Grandmother. She named it Rabbie. Aubree has carried Rabbie and still does every day of her life. This Christmas her Grandmother found this one on line and purchased it for her to put up for her daughter one day. Aubree really likes the new one but says it will never be loved as much as she loves Rabbie.

I have the pink one, I named her Glowy (wasn't very imaginative at the ripe age of 2) and over the years, I cut off all her bangs, her tag, and her frilly lace on the chest. I completely forgot that she had a charm necklace until I read some of these posts. I wish I could find the other colors. She's absolutely the ONLY item I have left from my baby years and I don't know how I've hung onto her for so long. It's very frustrating not being able to find any others on the internet. I'd give my whole rainbow brite collection to get the other pj sparklins. sad, huh.

I'm searching for the a yellow bunny... Thinking it could be the puppy I was thinking about though. I had one when I was little and called her star bunny. If anyone has any info on where I can get one my email is sbuff2010@gmail.com

I'm 22 and I still have my yellow bunny. I named her Starry when I was a kid. Originality, anyone? =P She sits on my bed and in my chair. :] She's always been one of my favorites, which is evidenced by the unwashable general dirty look she's reached, lol.

I had the purple one and my sisters had the yellow and pink ones.... I just got the feeling of missing it and wondering what happened to it... it helped me sleep many nights

I have the yellow one still! I got her when I was 4 and named her Glower. I tortured my mom every night by making her hold it up to the light making sure to "get all the stars" so she would glow all night. This by far was my favorite childhood toy. Ebay seems to have only pink and purple ones though.
