Description
Before Hills Department Store closed they had a large stuffed elf or gnome that had a rainbow colored hat on its head. This stuffed elf became known as the Hills Store Christmas Elf. My daughter won one of these in a Christmas coloring contest held at the store. It disappeared long ago and I have been trying to locate another one ever since. Does anyone recall this toy from Hills dept Store?

I grew up in Ohio and my sister had a Hills Sprite. I think it's still somewhere in my dads basement. i'm heading back up there in July so I will probably dig through some old boxes to see if I can find it
Oh yes, I had one of those. I miss that store. Back in the day it was the happening place. I had a Sprite, Rainbow Brite, Shirt Tales, Holly Hobbie, Smurfs, Cabbage Patch dolls, Strawberry Shortcake, and many other awesome toys of the 80's. Those were the days.
I still have mine! It was the first thing my father ever bought me when he married my mother. I called him Ziggy because I didn't know he had another name.
I still have mine. It's a little worn after 30 years but its the first toy I remember owning.
When I was little my cousin got one for christmas and gave it to me.
