Description

These toys were a set of five (3 good, 2 bad). They were made of a sticky stretchy material and had plastic heads. They also had armor you could clip on to them. Some of their names were Thunderbolt, Ernie, Fringe and Spike. Supposedly they were based on a Japanese TV show that never made it Stateside.

one of those characters was named Ernie. Alien ninja warriors that stretched and could wear armor. I remember the commercial featured one of them fighting in a grocery store, or something weird like that. never saw these in the store.

WOW, I've wondered what these things were called for a LOOOOONNNNGGG time! I had the one in the middle with the red/black and white armor. I thought these were really cool, but no one ever knew what I was talking about when I described them. Thanks for this!
