I am in desperate need of a Mickey with tapes. I bought one for my neice when she was very little around 2yrs, its got destroyed in a house fire. She is now 20 and would like to get her one as a special supprise for 21st. She cried for many years after mickey, I have not being able to find one anywher PLEASE HELP.

i have a mickey and goofy but i have lost the battery door for mickey. the door doesnt just lock away the batteries neat and safe, it has the metal battery connectors on the inside of it. without it i cant play the tapes. does anyone know if spares are available anywhere?

Yes, you can buy them on ebay sometimes. I bought mine somewhere online. Try searches for "talking mickey battery cover." PS, does anyone know if there is anything extra that needs to be done to make Mickey and Goofy talk together. My Mickey works fine, but when I hook up the Goofy with his own batteries and cord, I get nothing from Goofy at all. Goofy's green power light does not come on, he doesn't talk, no sound or movement out of him at all. Is there a secret power switch on Goofy or something?

I bought a "Mother Goose" from a local store. It came along with 3-tapes and it has the "World of Wonder" imprint where the tape cassetts goes. I inserted 4 new "C" cell batteries and a tape. When I turned the "on button" and increased the volumn, and nothing happened. I noticed that by the battery chamber, on the right, is a silver hole/opening. I'm not sure but by looking at this, I believe that there should be a cord that needs to be inserted. Can the Mother Goose work with just the tape and batteries and without some type of cord??? Do you think that this Mother Goose was once sold with Hector as a set? In order for Mother Goose to work, do I need to buy Hector, which hopefully comes with a cord to insert into Mother Goose .
