Description
DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THIS ONE? It was a talking version of the original Wrinkles dog puppet. As I recall, it was a "smart" toy that would actually respond appropriately to questions you would ask (i.e. did not just operate on a pre-recorded chip). I didn't have one, but played with one at a friend's b-day party once. We were asking it all kind of questions about whether he had gone on any dates with girl dogs, and his responses were hilarious - it really seemed like the thing WAS talking. Does anyone remember this toy???

I believe this was possibly the greatest toy ever made, and my family still owns one... I've been trying to find another online but cannot. It did seem like it was actually talking and was very advanced for its time...

I have a Wrinkles talking dog. It belonged to my daughter and it used to talk and when you put the bone in his mouth he growls and sounds like he's chewing it. It's really clever. She is looking to sell it if you're interested

I had a talking Wrinkles with bone when I was around 8-11 years old, but he got lost. I was on eBay recently and people have LOTS of Wrinkles' for sale-but I bought the best one: Original clothes, original bone, and he talks like new. Now I've been sleeping with him every night again and playing with him every day (and I'm 31)! I feel so sad for him when he asks, "Was I a bad Wrinkles"?

I have the talking Wrinkles but also lost the clothes and bone. This was the coolest toy back in the 80s and I really don't think there is anything today that compares. I would love to buy one with the bone for my daughter. Any one out there currently have one for sale?

Had I known this existed back in the 80s I know I would have begged my parents for one. In the 80s toys like this with electronics and mechanisms and such were increasingly common. I had none of it and my childhood was worse off because of it. Of all the electronic toys back then I think Wrinkles here stood head and shoulders above things like Teddy Ruxpin. This may just be because I like toy dogs way better than toy bears. Talking Wrinkles Rocks!!!
