i got this truck for my birthday one year, and it was fresh! got in trouble from my mom because i traded it for a he-man hawk-like plane. i'd forgotten about this one...

Yeah, I loved these growing up in California. They came out just as monster trucks were taking off, around 84. I also had a toy dune buggy that was yellow and black. When it got to rough terrain, the tires got bigger, and it could climb over it. Cant remember what that thing was called for the life of me.

Dustin- I had that same thing. The black tires didn't have claws, they "expanded" as the terrain got tough and there was a shifter of sorts on the back. I have no idea what it was called though :(

Flex. It was called flex and I loved it. Took lots of D cells so for me it was expensive to run but it could drive over anything.

My friend had one that was blue with a little raft on the back but it was not called the animal ? yellow claws did come out of the wheels though.
