Description
Cars and such that used a little pump to pump them up and then they would go flying across the floor. There were also aliens that would jump around and they used the same air pump as the cars to power them up. There were three different aliens. I also remember the commerical for them where it takes place on an alien ship and the alien kid, I think, wanted a pet. At the end, the kid asks his mother if he could keep them and the mother said something like "wait till you father comes home." The kid after that says "Aw darn!"

I need the pump, I found the car yesterday in a thrift store.
I remember mine well.. It was a red 4 wheel car. I still have the engine from it sitting in my closet on the shelf. What a cool toy!
I have the original VW bug version of this car fo over 20 years ago. I let some nephews and neices play with it and saw how much fun they had with this simple yet fun toy. I want to buy some as gifts. Anyone know where I can get a hold of new ones or even if they are being made?
I had a car collection growing up and after i moved out i only kept one which was my fav! it is a red car that had an air pump (which i lost!) i have been obsessing over this over the years! where would i find such a thing? and why do they not make these anymore!????

Are these related to that whole group of toys they made that you'd pump up and they'd do different things. I still have one of these toys that you pump it up and it jumps up and down - moving forward a bit with each jump. I'm going to go test it now and see if it still works. I used to have several different models. If anyone is interested, I'll post a picture.
I had the exact car pictured. My brother and I played with them for hours and it's one of the toys I frequently tell my own boys about. Everytime I go toi the toy store I lament for the toys of my youth and this car usually comes to mind. Who knows, maybe it was a piece of crap like today's toys and I just don't remember it that way.
