Omnibot and I are old friends. I worked for Tomy. Ended up going to Toy Fair with a Tuxedo and did over 250 15 minute shows. I would try to demonstrate the product, and he'd interupt and insult me. I still have two of the originals - Both batteries dead (should order both a charger and battery). Oh for the good old days.

I got one for like my 8th birthday after wishing and saving for it all year long; still have it 24 years later... kept away from sunlight and with a t-shirt on so little yellowing. I owned a DingBot (http://www.theoldrobots.com/dingbot.html) 20+ back years ago. Just that recently, I want to gift it to my small niece. However, I realize its DC motor not working anymore, due to loosen of wire. Hence, I dissemble the entire robot, tighten the wire. The DC motor is working right now. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to put it back anymore! The design of its mechanical is much more sophisticated than I expected!
