Description
It was a town that suctioned-cupped to the side of your bath tub. It had a little elevator and shower, etc. It looked like a little seaside apartment, I guess. It came with 4 figurines. This is a super cool site you have here! Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Oh my gosh! I am 27 and have done nothing but talk about this toy lately. I kept asking my mom, "remember that little house thing that suction cupped to the side of the tub and there was a little dining hall?" She was actually the one who remember the name of it was Tub Town. We have been Googling for hours and can't find a pic. Earlier today she came across a photo from when I was three years old and in the background was my Tub Town. I think mine got thrown out when my younger sister peeled the stickers off the room walls *cries* I can't believe there aren't any on e-bay or Craig's List! Rock on fellow 20-something years old Tub Town lovers!

OMG...I dont know why I thought of my Tub Town bath set today, but I so wish there was a pic to have that much more of a memory, I remember the dock, the elevator, the people, the lifesavers...I took my tub town people to the beach one day and decided to burry them, and never found them...So I guess my mom fig to throw out the tub town set, since the people, and the boat were gone...I LOVED that thing, and i want to buy one soooo bad!!!! LOL

Wasn't there two different Tub Towns? I remember this one, but I think my brother had a different one that was maybe made for babies. It had a water wheel on it (like a paddle boat) and a mirror I think.

There were two Tub Towns that I know of. I had the original, as shown in photo, and I think it was Tub Town Circus. I loved, loved, loved Tub Town. Both the kinds I had were so fun and great for imaginative play. I don't remember the details of either, but I know I had two versions.

My mother bought tub town for my daughter, now 26. She absolutely loved it and I've been looking for one for my granddaughter who's 16 mos. Seeing the picture made me want to cry. Boy do I wish I had saved Maddy's tub town.

I remember when I bought a Tub Town for my son over twenty years ago. They were hard to find even back then. Sad to say, but I think I bought it more for me than my son. Has anybody contacted the company about putting the original back into production?

My little brother had one and he LOVED it!! He played with it for years until the suction cups wouldn't stick anymore and the pieces got lost. Then my mom threw it away. It was the CUTEST toy!! Why do we moms do that? I'd love for my toddler to have one!

Ohh, thank goodness I was an only child and had a mom who made me keep all of my retro toys!! I had tub town (just like the 1 pictured above) and I still have it and ALL of the pieces that goes with it! This too was my favorite toy and I was just thinking if anyone else knew if it because it doesn't seem to be available anywhere. My daughter is now 11 mos and loving bath time so I think i'll soon be introducing her to the land of tub town. I don't know if this generation will like it as much as us kids of the 80's...now adays it has to light up and play music for the kids to like it ;(

We too (best friends for 23 years) are reminiscing about our favorite childhood toys of tubtown...although the pic at the top doesn't look like what we remember, but then again, we were like 3. Hopefully someday we will find another tubtown. Good luck to everyone.

I can't believe there are this many people who feel the same way I do about Tub Town. This is crazy! I'm 26 and I have a 2 year old. I recently asked my dad about the toy that I had in the bath etc etc. and he knew right off the bat what I was talking about. I couldn't believe he remembered the name of it. Why is this so hard to find? Somebody should reinvent Tub Town even though it could never be as cool as ours was. Alicia
