Description
Parents had to blow up these bright orange plastic "wings" that they then had to struggle to get around their kid's arms. Helped kids stay afloat in pools.

I remember these things. I remember they came in a variety of colors and patterns. My family called them "floaties."

I remember wearing them growing up. In Europe we generally called them water wings or armbands. Mine were bright orange and made by the German Co. Bema. I really enjoyed wearing them and still do!

I had a pair of these, amongst other floating devices for the pool, such as a back bubbly and also a ring that went around your stomach.

I think the name of these things were called Floogles. I remember the sharp plastic edges bugging me so I learned how to swim.

I use to wear armbands when I was young. i remember they had pictures of cartoon fish on them, that made it more embarassing as I got older as I took years longer Than everyone else to learn to swim. I was the only one still wearing "little babies floaties".
