Description
Soft hand puppets that were made to look like shar-pei dogs. They had their own bones, some had clothes and others didn't. They also had tags that were sewn into their necks and the "Wrinkles" mark that proves that they're real wrinkles. They came with clothes and a material bone-male or female.

This was one of those toys that I wanted SO badly as a child that I finally got one from eBay as an adult. It's a gray girl with a dress.

I received one for my 17th b-day. That was 19 years ago and I still have him. The Wrinkles mark was in the shape of a bone and it was embroidered on the inside of their ears.

I loved my wrinkes! One of my favorites! For some reason I associate him with my grandfather but I'm not sure why, I'm not sure if he gave it to me or not. My wrinkles was a darker brown boy, with tan corderoy overalls, a blue and gray (could have used to be white, not sure) striped shirt, and a purple bone with white polka dots.

wrinkles had a battery pack and talked. The bone he came with had some sort of magnet so whenever you would put the bone in his mouth, he would sense it, and make a big "chomp" sound, and then talk to you. remember? i still have mine but the battery pack no longer works.

I still have 2 Wrinkles. I got the first one for Christmas over 20 years ago from my step-dad. That one was the regular size and I also have one that is about 2 ft. tall. I received the bigger one from my one Gramp's gf after he passed away. As soon as I relocate them I will give them to my son.

DESPERATELY SEEKING OVERALLS AND BONE! My son received his Wrinkles from my father (his Pepere) on his first birthday in 1990. He (my son) still sleeps with his Wrinkles (son is almost 19 yrs old). His philosophy is if a woman won't accept his Wrinkles, he won't accept her! LOL My dad passed away 3 years ago, and Wrinkless overalls are quite shredded... they are a dark reddish-brown or rust color. If anyone has info, please let me know! kyeparadise@hotmail.com

I got my Wrinkles back in the 80's. His name is Ruff. I still have him, his outfit and his bone. It's the exact same Wrinkles they have in the picture! We're getting ready to have our first child and so far Ruff has been in the cradle, in the baby bjorn, in the carseat... He still looks great and is one of my favorite childhood animals!

I had one when I was a kid. He had red overalls, and I just adored him. But when I was 14, I had to give him away, because my mom thought it was odd that I was still playing with stuffed animals and she just wanted me to grow up. Of all the dolls I had, I wish I could have kept him....

I found a Wrinkles for my first child and then had two more behind her.Twenty years later we pulled out our Wrinkles and all the girls have their memories of growing up with him each in their own way. By the way he is still clean and fluffy and yet smiling.

My parents bought a discounted Wrinkles for me in '89 before I was even born... little did they know that Wrinkles would be my favorite stuffed animal. Nineteen years later, Wrinkles still has a spot next to my pillow every single night- he even went with me to college!

Ah Wrinkles. I remember first seeing this dog in an artice in a stuffed animal magazine I used to get. I was into dogs of all kinds as I still am. I remember wanting one pretty bad. At one point I came across one of the giant ones at ( I think ) Wal Mart. I poured my heart out begging my mom for that dog but was denied due to lack of funds. Eventually I got a knock off version, a brown dog whom I named Clifford. Clifford had a pair of green pajamas given to him by a friend of mine.I cut a hole in the back so I could still puppeteer him while he was wearing them. Eventually I traded Clifford for a Chubble. One of my greatest childhood mistakes. I still miss him. I did get a real Wrinkles later on. I was in my early teens. I got him because I wanted to practice puppetry with him. His name was Hound. I spent more time drawing Hound in class than I did doing actual schoolwork. Hound became a warrior, using his sword to slay monsters and other foul beings. I no longer have Hound, but I still draw him to this day. I do have three Wrinkles in my dog collection now. Two giant ones and one regular size.

I remember nagging for ages for a wrinkles, which I had at Christmas one year, my first when I was about 9, then following Christmases it was all I ever wanted. I remember one year travelling around Cardiff to Toys R us getting lost and being terribly upset coming home without one. I did not have one that Christmas until I was sent upstairs for something and there was mummy wrinkles, I already had baby, and I also have the daddy. got them out of the attic only yesterday for my one year old son to play with, I am 34 now. The thress are in perfect condition, mummy is dark brown with a blue dress and Daddy with brown cord dungarees and the baby girl is tan colour with burgundy clothing. The best presents ever, my parents are not here now but those memories will be with me forever
