OMG...my cousin scabbed her knees up sooo bad she couldn't get out of bed and my mom put these zany zappers on and went outside the bedroom window. She would flash the lights and stick out her dentures. My cousin was screaming but couldn't move. I laughed so hard...good memories!

I used to enter tons of lip synch contests in the 80's, and I won thousands and thousands of dollars while doing a variety of acts. One of my favorite ones was "Rock Lobster" by the B52s; my favorite prop was a pair of zany zappers, and they were so fun to wear! I used to sometimes break them out in nightclubs, while watching bands play...those little flashing red lights were so cool!

I used a pair behind a mask back when these were popular, the mask was a werewolf and when someone growled at me with their monster mask, I would growl back but light up the eyes, they were a perfect fit to the eyes of the mask which made the growl and response from the other person fantastic. LMAO! wish I had a pair today for the new masks that have arrived in the mail. Anyone know of any around? LOL

A bunch of us were at a out door concert, and there were these 2 guys dressed up as Jake and Elwood, AND, You would have 100% certainly it was Akroyd and Belushi & they had on the Zanny Zapper glasses, I have never laughed soooo hard in my life!! I went the next day and bought 10 pairs, and all of us put them on, and Zapped each other... from our Hospital beds!! lol lol lol I'm 60 now, and would Love to have another pair(s) bts.

When I was a kid my father made jawa costumes for me, my brother and sister. Zanny Zappers were perfect for the costume. He stiched black mesh fabric into the face of the hood and we could light up the "eyes" behind it. So cool!! My two children are now big enough for the costumes and I totally need to find Zappers to complete the costume for them
