My daughter Gemma is now 22, she had the very same zapf doll when she was about 23 months old as a christmas present, she loved it so much it was with her always and everywhere, she used to chew the fingers and toes as comfort and then started on the head, so we decided to buy her another exactly the same. She just took the clothes off it and put them on Crack baby as she was now called, we have the other doll in good condition but it was never a replacement for her much loved Cracks. 20 years later she still feels the same way about her, and Cracks still is never far away from her and probably one of the most important things in her life. Tonight we have been looking for some new clothes for Crack baby, and just thought id share this little story :) if anyone could help please reply :)

I have this doll also! Mine was bought in Germany in 1982 and wore a blue & white woollen jumper and pants too. She got called Jo and has swapped between being a boy and a girl at points over the years. She wears a pretty satin dress these days and sits on top of my wardrobe! lol

My two daughters had this doll they had pink woollen suits on and the little hospital birth tag on their wrists! My daughters are 40 and 39 now and I found these dolls up in the loft in good condition so have gave them to my youngest granddaughters.
