Description
It's similar to Tetherball - but a tennis ball is attached instead of a volley ball. It come with two hard plastic paddles and you "play tennis" around the pole. It's loads of fun!

I had a ZimZam and loved it and while cleaning out my father's shed I found one. It is in prefect shape. It could us a new string and ball but whats on it works. I just love the game. Bring it back. It was made with heavy metal not the flimes stuff they make toys from now.

I have a swingball, my parents still have an original Zimm Zamm, we broke the last ball yesterday. The swingball is very weak, it looks like ZZ, but the pole structure is wobbly.

I'm searching right now for a Zim Zam! My whole family absolutely loved playing it when I was growing up and now I want one to play with my sons. Found swingball, which LOOKS like zim zam but another comments said it is wobbly and weak, any other comments or advice? For Tammy T. - the swingball maker also sells replacement balls and tethers - may work with her zim zam??? Worth a look anyway

I loved to play Zim Zam as a kid! I noticed on ebay there is a guy who sells something called Tether Tennis by sportcraft for $29.99 plus shipping. It looks just like a Zim Zam. I'm going to order one right now!

I bought a Zimm Zamm swingball at a garage sale because I thought the kids would enjoy playing with it, as I couldn't afford to put in a racquetball court. When I researched it, I saw a lot of people were looking for them and an original one in an unopened box would probably go well on that well known auction site. Then, this forum mostly, as well as others, convinced me to reflect upon all the 'collectibles' my three brothers and I used up while growing up,... and I ripped that box open and gave it to the children.

I just dont know what I would do if i could get my hands on a zimm zamm. It was absolutly the most fun me and my friends ever had when I was growing up. I keep talking about it, but would love to buy one for my family so they can experience the fun I once had.

I just bought a tether ball set from The Vermont Country Catalog, it is just like zimm zamm. If you need3 a tennis ball on a rope go look up sportcraft, they sell replacement parts.

I had a Zim Zam growing up in the 80s and would love to purchase one for myself and my children to play. I would like to know where I could get one. Please don't tell me they don't make them anymore. That would be sad.

My sister and I used to play zim zam barefoot when we were kids. Nothing like trying to stomp it into the ground without shoes on. Ouch! We smack the ball like we were beating the hell out of eachother. Sometimes she even let me win. I miss my zim zam. I'm buying a Tether Tennis set for my 4 boys so they can rock out with the 80's toys too.

One of my favorite pastimes growing up was playing zim zam with my siblings and the other kids in the neighborhood while eating an ice cream cone with chocolate jimmies

Me and my sister had a ZIM ZAM for such a long time. We would even play it at night in the summer time and My Dad would put out a Flood light for us. Wish they would bring it back. That was my favorite game growing up.

I don't know how many times we told my little brother to stay away while the bigger kids were playing ZimZam. He never listened! WHACK! To the hospital for stiches in the side of his head - twice Those rackets were hard, heavy plastic. Super fun.

"Swingball" is the new version - not quite the same as the heavy duty ZimZam

I loved the ZimZam as a child and was excited to purchase this for my sons Christmas gift. Well, this is NOT as good as the ZimZAM. The rackets are made of hard plastic and the ball tore up after playing twice. I am not happy with this at all!!

We use to play Zim Zam for hours when we were kids. Especially when we were at the beach. We would have tournaments. It was a blast. I would love to find the original Zim Zam from the 80's for my kids. I have tried some of the other brands.. like Swing Ball, but it just doesn't hold up.

I loved Zim Zam when I was a kid. My brother and I would play for hours and my dad would yell at us because we would put holes all over the front lawn. We had to keep moving it because we were hitting it so hard that the pole would sway after awhile and the hole would get to big for the pole to sit right. Ahhhhh, what memories. I just saw a commercial for something that was similar to it. Was it swingball? Does anyone know if it's any good? I would love it for my kids and also to see my dad's expression when he saw me and my brother playing it again!!!

Go to E-Bay and search for Zim Zam you will find someone that sells the "original" ALL METAL zim zam brand NEW! I just ordered one and I can't wait to play it! It cost me around $42 or so with shipping. It will be so worth it, the "swingball" does not compare. check it out and enjoy!

Zim ZAM as i like to call it held a special place in my brain. Do you know why? Because i used it on top of my ice cubes while drinking a fountain soda. It added some fun and glamour to my glass. Like fergie once said, G-L-A-M-O-R-OUS because im glamourous. Yes, I am. And by the way GO NEBRASKA HUSKERS

REMEMBER ZIMM ZAMM FROM THE 70's & 80's? Want it? Then go to eBay and type in Zim Zam. I've not found anything more comparable nor less expensive than this one!!

We just bought the Zimm Zamm (Sportscraft Tether Tennis) from Vermont Country Store. This is just like the original. However the ball split right in half after playing with it twice! The original never broke on us and that took major abuse. I'm calling the company in the morning to see what they will do.
