We had a Zugly too, there were differebt styles of Zuglies, Ours had a green body , yellow arms a purple head with a large danglt green nose pink hair and ears with an earring he also had a cuff around his foot that was chained to his arm , We loved Zugly adn would love to get our hands on a new one!

i have some toy of the 80`s and i very like the toy and keep it and love the toy very much.

Me and my friend had a couple Zugly's each, and they were our companions wherever we went. Even to school. I think there were 4 or 5 different types maybe? And they came in two different sizes as well.

I got a Zugly for Christmas in 1987. He has blue legs, a pink body and green face. I took him everywhere and dressed him in clothes! I am 26 now and he is still my favourite and most prized possession.

I'm 31 now, and my little son has inherited my Zugly (the one with the green mohawk) and he won't go to sleep without it. :) It used to be in mint condition, since I was so careful with all my toys as a kid. Not anymore, but the important thing is that it makes him happy!

I had a Zugly when i was a kid. Funny thing is that it went every where with me and people used to look at me as if I was an evil child, because i did not play with cute toys...hello i am a boy. I love the A team and still collect Smurfs today. My Zugly still lives on as we speak, my sisters kiddie has inheritat me Zugly and will not go to sleep if he has not got Zugly with him. He is now 4 and says that Zugly scares away the monster in the night. LONG LIVE ZUGLY. Any one know where to get them now. I have tried ebay, but nothing there.

I am 29 now and my children have also inherited mine. I have the one with the pink torso.

I still have 2 Zugly dolls from the 80s. My first one (the green mohawk) is the one I took everywhere with me. I didn't go anywhere with out. I still have it and will always keep it. The other is a pinkish one and I think it's in my basement with other toys boxed away. LONG LIVE ZUGLYS!!

Hah! That last Zugly pic of him in the grey chair is a picture I took several years ago. My Zugly is still doing fine. I got mine when I was about 2 years old. I think he's the only that I've still got that's been with me that long.

I never heard of Zuglys until 6 months ago when my girlfriend introduced me to hers.Shes crazy about it,hes green with yellow arms and legs and a purple head.Her sister found it in a skip and gave it to her,she was two,think it was bout 86.

My daughter keeps asking me and her father what were our favorite stuffed animals when were kids. I told her I had a Zugly doll. I would love to find one. I have a Zugly. it's about the only toy that survived me throughout my kidhood. the eye is missing though. he and i use to wrestle every saturday morning and after a face slam his eye popped off. poor guy. anyone know where i can buy another???? also aiden how much are you looking to spend on one? i have the one with the green head, pink torso, and blue legs.

My parent's got me a Zugly the monster when i was a couple of months old i love it i took it every where and now my one yr old has on her own will takin as her own he is 25 yrs old and im so glad that one of my children has decided to play with it

I was given a zugly the day i was born. It was my first toy. Its got a green body yellow arms and feet. a purple head pink ears and pink mohawk with a big green nose. Hes missing both of his eyes. I am 28 now. it is the only toy that has survived all these years I plan on giving it to my kids when they are old enough to have it. I love him and wouldnt part him with for the world.

I've just had to phone my parents after seeing this page, my Zugly was a dog toy when i was there earlier.. still in good nick, but could do with a wash i think.

I am 27, and in the U.S. Army. I received the Zugly w/ the purple body, pink head, and one snaggle tooth when I aprox. 2. I STILL have him today! Matter of fact he is here with me now on my second deployment! He has literally been everywhere w/ me, and I refuse to go anywhere w/ out him! He is my awesome travel buddy/ pillow. And he is the ONLY item that I have listed in my will. He is old, worn out, and has been stitched up several times, but I just can't bear the thought of getting rid of him. I hope to give him to one of my future kids. :D
