When it was popular: mid to late 80's

Description: These were spandex shorts that bikers wear, but at this time we would wear them just to be cool. My sister and I had great ones that were all black with black and white checkerboard pattern on the outside of the legs. They came in all kinds of colors and if you had them, you just felt soooo cool :)
