"Don't You (Forget About Me)", Favorite Songs from Movies, Songs Beginning with H
Movies in the eighties had some of the best soundtracks, and the most memorable and popular songs at the time seem to have sometimes outshone the movies themselves. As I get time I'll add more songs to this list, feel free to send me your additions to the list. If you want, try and list which scene during the movie the song appears during. Oh, and the whole "Valley Girl" soundtrack get's an honorable mention since it's packed full of great eighties songs. I also rank and review other eighties soundtracks on my Soundtracks of the Eighties Page in case you are interested.

"Hello Again" by Neil Diamond used in the movie The Jazz Singer
Wonderful love song used between Neil Diamond and Lucie Arnaz's character in the film. It captures the feel of many a tender moment. The orchestration of the music alone makes this song a classic.
"Helplessly In Love" by New Edition used in the movie Dragnet
This is one of the best and most unknown New Edition ballads!! Anyone who loves the Force M.D.'s "Tender Love" should check it out because they sound a lot alike since they were both written by Jimmy Jam & Terris Lewis!!
"Here's My Heart" by Pat Benatar used in the movie Metropolis
This beautiful song adds much feeling to this black and white film about robots falling in love and helping each other. Pat's vocals are so beautiful and the song was released as a single, but if you watch the movie, you'll hear the extended version of it playing on and off throughout. Just beautiful!

Great ending credits song, catchy, but does not actually appear on the "Vibes" soundtrack...
"Hole In My Heart(All the Way to China)" by Cyndi Lauper used in the movie Vibes
Playing during the end credits it's my favorite song of hers(Should have been on her greatest hits "12 Deadly Sins" CD! Dangit!) And how great is Cyndi in this movie with Jeff Goldblum(god is he a underated actor) and speaking of underated...the hilarious Peter Falk who just about steals the show!

"howard the duck" by thomas dolby used in the movie Howard the Duck
Hi! I just found this site and read the list of songs. I felt like I was back in grade school. Then I came across the Howard the Duck mention and remembered seeing the vinyl of the soundtrack. The only thing that annoyed me is that Lea Thompson didn't do any songs on the soundtrack despite in the movie. UGH!
"Howard The Duck" by Dolby's Cube f/ Cherry Bomb used in the movie Howard The Duck
The song that Lea Thompson and her band preformed at the end of the movie. The song was produced by Thomas Dolby and features the instruments played by his band Dolby's Cube.
"Hunger" by Spectre General used in the movie Transformers: The Movie
I forget the sequence this is played during, but it's around the middle of the movie.
"Hungry Eyes" by Patrick Swayze used in the movie Dirty Dancing
This is the song in the movie where you can start to feel that Baby "Jennifer Grey" and Johnny "Patrick Swayze" are falling for each other. "The steps aren't enough...you've gotta feel the music" Says Johnny in the movie.
"Hungry Eyes" by Eric Carmen used in the movie Dirty Dancing
This is one of my favorite songs, at least from this soundtrack...whether you're a hopeless romantic, or just someone who admires somebody from afar, this song could strike a chord...
"Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran used in the movie Old School
