I Liked It When I Saw It The First Time, Entries Beginning with F

This page is inspired by the comedy of David Spade. Yes, David Spade. During his stay on Saturday Night Live, he would occasionally put things down that seemed to copy things before them by saying something like "I liked 'Black Sheep' the first time I saw it, when it was called 'Tommy Boy'". So this is my attempt at ranking on the movies and television programs of the nineties (and present) by pointing out what they copied from the eighties. Since there always seems to be a lot or unoriginal ideas in Hollywood, this should be an easy page to fill up quickly.

I liked "The Faculty" when it was called The Breakfast Club
The only difference is its TBC meets sci-fi. The characters are the same--the jock, the brain, the basketcase, the princess, and the criminal.
I liked "Fairly Oddparents" when it was called The Littles
Same plot on most episodes of both series, a boy protecting "imaginary beings" from some greedy hunter. The only difference is that "Fairly Oddparents" is slightly funnier.
I liked "Family Guy" when it was called Married...With Children
I liked "Family Guy" when it was called The Simpsons
I liked "Family Guy" when it was called All In The Family
Archie Bunker as an animated characacture.
I liked "Fantasia" when it was called Whitney Houston
I liked "Fast And The Furious" when it was called Point Break
Same exact story; they just took out the surfing and added cars.
I liked "The Fast and The Furious" when it was called Days of Thunder
Both movies featuring car racing, the best ones ever.
I liked "The Fast and the Furious" when it was called Banzai Runner
I liked "Fastlane" when it was called Miami Vice
I liked "Father Of The Pride" when it was called Duckman
Animated series tha featured 'funny animals', but aimed towards adults. And "Duckman" is from the '90's, but started out as a comicbook in the '80's.
I liked "Fatherhood" when it was called The Cosby Show
"Fatherhood" is basically an animated version of "The Cosby Show". Mainly because it was based on books from Cosby himself.
I liked "Fear Factor" when it was called That's Incredible!
I liked "Felicity" when it was called Dallas
I liked "Frasier" when it was called Cheers
I liked "Frasier" when it was called Cheers
I liked "Freaks & Geeks" when it was called The Wonder Years
Both nostalgia shows about growing up. Quite fitting that we are doing just that about the shows when they were on first time round!
I liked "Freaks and Geeks" when it was called Square Pegs
I liked "Freaky Friday" when it was called Like Father Like Son
I liked "Freddie Prinze, Jr." when it was called Jonathan Silverman
How did either of these guys ever get work?
I liked "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" when it was called Silver Spoons
Both rich families with kids, even Alfonso Ribero played in both sitcoms.
I liked "Friends" when it was called Seinfeld
Seinfeld wasnt exactly an 80s series, but Friends was definetly a rip-off of it
I liked "FuseTV" when it was called MTV's Headbanger's Ball/Alternative Nation
FuseTV is mostly rock music programming 24 hours a day. At least hard rock fans have a music channel to tune into instead of MTV today. MTV2 only has fewer hours dedicated to rock.
I liked "Futurama" when it was called The Jetsons

What else can you think of that is ripped off from the 80s?
