I Liked It When I Saw It The First Time, Entries Beginning with R

This page is inspired by the comedy of David Spade. Yes, David Spade. During his stay on Saturday Night Live, he would occasionally put things down that seemed to copy things before them by saying something like "I liked 'Black Sheep' the first time I saw it, when it was called 'Tommy Boy'". So this is my attempt at ranking on the movies and television programs of the nineties (and present) by pointing out what they copied from the eighties. Since there always seems to be a lot or unoriginal ideas in Hollywood, this should be an easy page to fill up quickly.

I liked "RV" when it was called National Lampoon's Vacation
Robin Williams is no Clark Griswold!
I liked "Rainbow Fish" when it was called The Snorks
Sony-Wonder should burn in H*** for what they did to the Snorks' reputation.
I liked "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew" when it was called Solid Gold
Both shows had kids dancing the only difference between ABDC and Solid Gold is that one show has kids dancing in troops and the other had kids dancing solo.
I liked "Randy Orton" when it was called Randy Savage
I know they have nothing in common except for their first names and wresling. But I think this should be on here.
I liked "The Real Gilligan's Island" when it was called The Real World
Though "The Real Gilligan's Island" is another "Survivor" clone that had the same premise of the corny '60's sitcom, but the first "true" reality show, besides the 5 O'clock news, is "The Real World", which first aired over 12 years ago.
I liked "Real TV" when it was called That's Incredible!
I liked "Reality Bites" when it was called Singles
I liked "Red Dragon" when it was called Manhunter
Manhunter is the movie version of Red Dragon. And its better.
I liked "Revenge Of The Sith" when it was called Return of the Jedi
"Return of the Jedi" was first considered "Revenge of the Jedi".
I liked "Richard Cheese" when it was called Bill Murray
Murray did the lounge singer on "Saturday Night Live".
I liked "Ricki Lake" when it was called Phil Donahue
I liked "The Rock" when it was called Hulk Hogan
I liked "Rose McGowan" when it was called Shannen Doherty
I liked "Ross Geller" when it was called Jack Tripper
A couple of clutzy characters, only Jack was funnier.
I liked "Rugrats" when it was called Muppet Babies
I liked "Rush Hour" when it was called 48 Hours
I liked "Rush Hour" when it was called Beverly Hills Cop
I liked "Rush Hour" when it was called Lethal Weapon
I liked "Rush Hour 2" when it was called Another 48 Hours

What else can you think of that is ripped off from the 80s?
