Eighties Movie Locations That Really Exist, Movies Beginning with K

This is a list of places that are in movies, but have a real life counterpart. Please try and be as specific as possible in describing where something is and when it appears in a movie. I don't want just city names where filming took place so much as I want landmark type buildings.

K9
Most of the movie was filmed in San Diego. But the Hotel Del Coronado is featured. Its a really cool hotel. And some of the rooms are haunted!
Kansas
Yes "KANSAS," starring Matt Dillon, was indeed filmed in Kansas....specifically in Lawrence, Topeka, Valley Falls and Edgerton.

Kent State
The entire movie was shot on location in Gadsden, Alabama. Producers wanted to shoot the movie at the real Kent State College in Ohio, but the college and the town refused. Gadsden State College looks remarkably similar to Kent State, so the film was shot there. The shooting schedule lasted about 3 months, and the production literally took over the small town, which has a population of about 104,000.
