Scenes From Movies of the Eighties, Movies Beginning with M

What was the most memorable scene from an eighties movie? Was it when the Blues Brothers make an impossible leap over the drawbridge, or was it when Bender in the Breakfast Club leads the group through the deserted school corridors while trying to avoid getting caught? Whatever the reason, whatever the scene, let me know and I'll share it with everyone else.

Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior
Max hikes back to the abandoned truck while keeping his shotgun on the Gyro Captain. Along the way, they stop by the Gyro Captain's plane to find that his snake has killed someone who tried to steal it. Max searches the body to find shotgun shells, which he uses to load his previously empty shotgun. The Gyro Captain's reaction is priceless.
Manhunter (The Red Dragon)
When the FBI Agent Will Graham (William L. Peterson) encounters and talks to his foe, Hannibal Lecter (Brian Cox).
The scene where Angela (Michelle Pfeifer) and Frank (Alec Baldwin) DeMarco are arguing in the kitchen. Angela is mad because everything they eat, wear, and own fell off a truck. Frank asks what Angela wants to do about it, and Angela replies, in this GREAT Long Island accent: "I want a divorce!"
Connie Russo (Mercedes Ruehl) aims a gun at Tony Russo's (Dean Stockwell) family jewels, and he covers his crotch with his hands. When she shoots, he suddenly wakes up in a jail cell, and it was all a strange dream. Yikes.
Ok, so this is only good for the women, but when Frank "The Cucumber", (Alec Baldwin) is with the hooker (Nancy Travis) and is getting ready to get into the hottub, he is wearing this cute little pair of red skimpies ( my term for teeny little underwear for men!). When Tony "The Tiger" (Dean Stockwell) enters and finds Baldwin's character with the hooker, he kills her and shoots Alec in the back of the head, sending him headfirst into the hottub in the red skimpies!! Woo-hoo!
The scene where Tony "The Tiger" Russo (Dean Stockwell) shoots Karen Lutnick (Nancy Travis) and Frank "Cucumber" DeMarco in the bathroom of the hotel suite. DeMarco, clad only in a red speedo, falls head-first into the red, heart-shaped jacuzzi tub, which Karen's dead body is already in. Wow. I NEVER thought I'd see Dean Stockwell murder ANYONE in a movie, especially since I watch "Quantum Leap," and know him as lovable Al.
In the nightclub, the loung singer is singing an Italian song, but when Tony "The Tiger" (Dean Stockwell) enters, he immediately starts singing a song for Tony.
At the end when the survivors get away on the boat
Meatballs
When Camp North Star is trailing in the camp Olympics, Bill Murray tries to boost morale, leading his team in a chorus of "It doesn't matter if we win or we lose! It just doesn't matter! It just doesn't matter!" (And somehow, they do win.)
Meatballs
All the camp councellors and councellors -in-training are sitting by a campfire talking about their first day at camp and bill Murray starts them singing "We are the CIT's so pitious, the kids are brats, the food is HIDEOUS, We're gonna smoke and drink and fool around(we're NOOKIE~BOUND) We're Northstar CIT'S"
The scene where the kids are in the house and their trapped by the vampire brides, Dracula, and the wolfman who are each coming down a separate hallway. The leader says to the fat kid: "Kick him in the nards!" (the wolfman) "Wolfman doesn't have nards!" "Just do it!" Kicks him in the crotch and the wolfman goes down. "Wolfman gots nards." This part cracked me up everytime I saw it.
The music montage. And, the scene where Rudy and Patrick are sitting in the bushes and Patrick flicks Rudy in the head with the walkie talkie antennae. Rudy's response: "This babe is major."
  • The Entire "Autumn Years" sequence (which includes the penis song and the obscenely fat man vomiting)
  • The musical number "Christmas In Heaven"
  • The ultra-tasteless musical number "Every Sperm Is Sacred"
  • The convicted criminal who decides to get killed by a bunch of topless women chasing after him
